In a world where celebrity endorsements often feel scripted and overly polished, the Khan brothers have just reminded us why their off-screen camaraderie is the stuff of legend. A new advertisement for super.money, a UPI venture by Flipkart, is currently breaking the internet, and it doesn't involve Salman Khan doing heavy-duty stunts or delivering high-octane monologues. Instead, it features the ‘Bhaijaan of Bollywood’ doing exactly what we imagine he does on a lazy Sunday: saying "no" to work.

The advertisement kicks off with a relatable, albeit high-stakes, scenario. A frantic production crew is seen on a set, looking stressed and exhausted. The camera pans to a director or producer holding an iPad, where a very relaxed Salman Khan appears via video call.

Looking straight into the lens, Salman doesn't mince words. "Fed up, tired, pakk gaya hoon," he declares with his signature nonchalance. When the crew desperately pleads for just "two hours" of his time to finish the shoot, Salman reveals he isn't even in Mumbai – he’s tucked away at his famous Panvel farmhouse. The comedy peaks when, instead of offering a rescheduled date, Salman simply suggests a suitable replacement: "Arbaaz hai na wahan par? Toh Arbaaz se kara lo na"

Before the stunned crew can process the suggestion, Salman abruptly ends the call, leaving them staring at the screen.

True to Salman's word, the ad shifts to the actual shoot, where Arbaaz Khan has stepped into his brother’s shoes – quite literally. Dressed in a rugged, safari-style green jacket with binoculars around his neck, Arbaaz stands in a jungle-themed set, posing in a classic Bollywood hero stance next to a vintage jeep.

Arbaaz delivers the promotional pitch for the platform with a grin that suggests he’s fully in on the joke. He explains the core benefit of the app: paying via the UPI platform to earn up to 5 per cent guaranteed cashback. The ad brilliantly uses the sibling dynamic to pivot from the drama of a superstar’s unavailability to the no-drama promise of the financial app.

The campaign's tagline, "NO DRAMA. JUST CASHBACK," is a clever nod to Salman's larger-than-life persona and the often complicated world of digital rewards. By leaning into the public's perception of Salman’s blunt honesty and Arbaaz’s good-natured willingness to play along, the brand manages to be both funny and memorable.

The advertisement ends with Arbaaz letting out a hearty laugh, capturing the light-hearted spirit of the entire campaign. It’s a refreshing take on fintech marketing, proving that sometimes, the best way to sell a serious financial product is with a little bit of family drama.
