Bollywood actress Chitrangda Singh has long had a knack for making glamour look both sophisticated and sensual. Her wardrobe frequently moves between sculpted gowns, sharply tailored separates and Indian silhouettes, but there is usually a strong dose of old-school movie-star drama tying everything together. She is equally at ease with rich jewel tones and softer palettes, while statement jewellery and defined beauty looks often provide the finishing flourish. For her latest appearance, Chitrangda once again leaned into that glamorous vocabulary, this time giving the traditional saree an ethereal, contemporary update.

Chitrangda Singh stepped out in a sage-green concept saree by Tarun Tahiliani, an elaborate creation that played beautifully with transparency, texture and structure. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared stunning photos of herself in the saree.

The ensemble blended sheer tulle and delicate French lace, enriched with intricate hand embroidery, cutdana, sequins, glass beads and pearls. Rather than following the lines of a conventional saree, the drape created a sculpted silhouette, with gathered detailing around the hips before falling fluidly towards the floor. A fitted, structured corset-style blouse formed the base, while the sheer lace pallu swept asymmetrically across her torso and over one shoulder, almost resembling a romantic cape or dupatta. Scalloped lace edging and scattered embellishments added further intricacy without overwhelming the dreamy pastel shade.

If the outfit was delicate, Chitrangda's jewellery brought unapologetic opulence. She accessorised with pieces from Curio Cottage Jewellery, layering an ornate diamond, pearl and emerald choker with a second necklace featuring vivid green stones. The combination sat high around her neck and created a striking contrast against the pale green ensemble. A diamond bracelet added more sparkle, while statement rings, including pieces accented with green stones, completed the maximalist jewellery story.
Her beauty look pushed the ensemble firmly into vintage-glam territory. Chitrangda Singh wore her dark hair in voluminous, glossy waves, allowing the softly curled lengths to frame her face and tumble over her shoulders.
For makeup, she chose a sultry, defined finish. Shimmering bronze-brown shadow was paired with heavily lined smoky eyes, dramatic lashes and strong, groomed brows. Warm bronzed cheeks and luminous skin added dimension, while a deep berry-red lip supplied the final hit of colour.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Chitrangda Singh was last seen in ‘Housefull 5’, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Abhishek Bachchan, among others. The movie, which hit theatres in June 2025, released in two different versions, having different climaxes.
Up next, the Bollywood actress will be seen opposite Salman Khan in ‘Maatrubhumi’. ‘Maatrubhumi’, produced under the Salman Khan Films banner, is no ordinary project. Inspired by the real-life bravery of the Indian Army during the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, the film sees Salman stepping into the boots of an Indian Army Colonel, while Chitrangda plays his wife.
