TERMS AND CONDITIONS – B4U BHOJPURI KAUN BANEGA ACTOR CONTEST
1. These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern the contest ‘Kaun Banega Actor’, hosted and conducted by B4U Broadband (India) Private Limited (“B4U”/ “Company”) on its digital and television channels/platforms namely “B4U Bhojpuri” or any other channel under the brand name “B4U” (“Channel/s”) for the purpose of providing its viewers an opportunity to act, perform and feature alongside Bhojpuri Movie Stars (‘Prize’) to be telecasted on its Channel (collectively referred as the “CONTEST”).
2. B4U is holding the above CONTEST for a period of 3 (three) months commencing from 17th April, 2025 (“Contest Period”) with a right to further extend the said Contest Period which will be duly communicated to its viewers/participants by B4U.
3. The CONTEST shall be aired on B4U’s Channel and shall be promoted as deemed fit by B4U at its sole discretion in all means, modes and formats available. These Terms will be made available for viewing on the Channel or Company website or its social media accounts/handles.
4. The Contest shall be governed by the Terms and all the participants in the Contest shall unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by the same. If You do not agree to be bound or cannot comply with any of the Terms, please do not continue. Your failure to accept or comply with the provisions of these Terms will disqualify you from participating in the Contest. The decisions of the Company for all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects.

- Step 2: visit B4U’s website www.b4uentertainment.com and fill in the available online Contest Participation Form.
- Step 3: Provide all required information requested under the Contest Participation Form
- Step 4: Upload the Screenshot/proof of you Subscribing and following B4U’s Bhojpuri YouTube Channel.
- Step 5: Participants must select and give the correct answer from the multiple answer choices and submit the Contest Participation Form.
6. A total of 6 (six) winners will be selected by B4U by the end of the Contest Period, i.e., 1 winner to be selected by B4U every 15 (fifteen) days. B4U shall not declare any winner if none of the participants have answered correctly and/or fulfilled the Contest Participation Form requirement including continuous subscription of B4U’s YouTube Channel during the Contest Period.
7. The winner of the Contest shall be selected by B4U by way of random automated selection (without any human intervention) from the shortlisted Entries (Winner/s). If the process of selection of Winner is broken-down due to any technical error, the entire process of selection and announcement will be done all over again.
8. Participants who have successfully fulfilled all criteria’s to participate in the Contest including providing the requisite documents and are not chosen as Winner/s will continue to hold an opportunity to participate during the Contest Period as their names/participation form will be carry forwarded to the next selection process till the last winner is announced.
9. As soon as each Winner is selected by B4U (i.e., prior to announcement), B4U will make Three (3) attempts to contact the Winner/s to request provision of requisite documents. The winner will have to provide all these requisite documents (example: PAN, AADHAR, residential proof, Photo etc.) to B4U within a period of 24 hours (emails permitted) and original copies of these documents not later than 3 days thereof. The Winner acknowledges that in the event these documents are not provided to B4U, B4U shall have the right to eliminate the current Winner and replace it with a second Winner in line that was automated during the selection process of the current Winner. The same process will be followed giving all first top 5 (five) participants in line a chance to provide documents during a particular selection process if the preceding Winner fails to do so. In the event all 5 (five) participants fail to provide the requisite documents, B4U will be entitled to conduct a fresh selection of Winner at its sole discretion after eliminating these, Winners. These Winner shall not dispute or conflict with the decisions of the Company and shall disclaim B4U of its any and all liabilities in relation thereto.
10. B4U upon selection of each Winner will be conducting an internal verification process prior to declaration/announcement of Winner names to be revealed on all its Channels subject to the Winner fulfilling and providing all required KYC documents needed by B4U as per the above terms.
11. The Winner submitting its photograph to B4U, herein provides B4U the right to use and display the provided photograph on its Channel/s (including B4U’s social media platforms and website) during the Contest including the Winner announcement day. The right to use shall include the right to display, distribute, and use the photograph in any content or promotional material for the Contest Period and any such further period, unless otherwise stipulated.
12. Each Participant including all Winners agrees and confirm to follow and keep itself subscribed to B4U’s Bhojpuri YouTube channel for a continuous period of minimum 6 (six) months effective from the day of participation, failing with B4U at its sole discretion shall have the right to eliminate such participant / Winner from the Contest at its sole discretion.
13. Participants to note that any unclear/incorrect/incomplete participation, providing wrong /incomplete information/ fake documents, any false representation etc., which are not in line with these Terms and Conditions shall be considered invalid entry and deemed null and void and would lead to disqualification of such participant/Winner. Incomplete or incorrect response received from any viewer or through any unlawful means shall not be a valid Entry.
14. B4U after the announcement of the Winner on its Channel (i.e., satellite, digital) shall invite these Winners to claim its Prize i.e., the excellent opportunity to act, perform and feature alongside Bhojpuri Movie Stars in any film/video/content (“Content”) produced by B4U.
15. The Winner herein confirms that the opportunity provided in relation to the Prize of the Contest shall be towards playing a role of a “character artist” alongside Bhojpuri Movie Stars and not as a Lead Actor. B4U shall at all times hold the exclusive right to select and determine the role/character/placement to be provided to each Winner alongside the Bhojpuri Movie Stars under any of its produced Content.
16. The Winner undertakes that it shall not dispute or conflict with the decision of the Company nor shall it interfere with the creative decisions, rights of which are solely entrusted with the Company.
17. The selection of Winner is not transferable, redeemable, negotiable, assignable or exchangeable for cash or any other consideration.
18. The entire process of this Contest will be consistently audited by independent auditors (the “Agents”) appointed by B4U. The Agents shall prepare the Winners’ list. The Winners may be required to sign an “Winner Entitlement Form” and/or “Artist Agreement” provided by B4U to comply with the formalities of acceptance of role / opportunity to feature in B4U’s film/video/content thereby releasing B4U of all liability under this Contest. Refusal to complete and sign any documents requested by B4U shall result in disqualification of the Winner. All decisions of B4U are final and irrevocable. Disqualification of any Winner at any stage of the Contest including the final stage of showcasing in any film/video/content shall permit B4U to follow the selection process as detailed in clause 10 above thereby providing the opportunity to the succeeding Winner to replace the current selected Winner.
19. The Winner is required to disclose his/ her personal information to B4U from time to time such as name, contact number, email ID, residential address, photograph, and/or other personal information. (“Personal Information”). B4U is committed to protecting the privacy and the confidentiality of the Personal Information received. B4U uses commercially reasonable efforts and general industry standards to protect such information from any unauthorized access or disclosure. Such Personal Information and /or any information or content gathered through these Terms and Conditions is dealt in the manner laid down in the Privacy Policy which is accessible on the Channel Website at https://b4uentertainment.com/ .
20. This Contest is subject to the guidelines /directions issued by TRAI and any other statutory authority from time to time. It is clarified that all costs incurred by the Participant(s) to participate in the Contest shall be solely borne by the Participant(s) without any recourse to B4U.
21. Upon completion and finalization of all requisite documentation requested by the Company from the Winner shall the Company will provide a detailed shoot schedule to each Winner and subject to its acceptance by the Winner agrees to bear the following expenses for these Winners:
- - Make available a railway two-way return trip i.e., 2-tier train travel ticket to be booked and provided by B4U only;
- - Make available accommodation/ on location stay arrangement to be provided by B4U only;
- - Food expenses during short period, i.e. travel and stay to be borne by B4U.
- - Any or all other expenses (if any) incurred by the Winner shall be solely borne by the Winner unless otherwise agreed to be paid by the Company in writing.

22. B4U and their respective Agents, are not responsible for any loss of entries, any failure in sending response or failure in giving due intimation to the participants/winners for any reason whatsoever including, due to any problems as a consequence of computer service delays, interruptions, failures or overloads, or for lost, misdirected or misplaced entries. Entries are void if incorrect, incomplete, irregular, tampered with, and mechanically reproduced in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions
23. Mere participation in the CONTEST and providing the requisite details does not entitle the Participant to be shortlisted or selected as a Winner.
24. The Contest is open to Indian citizens residing in India who are above age of 18 years, other than the employees of B4U, and its affiliates, subsidiaries, assignees, representatives and their immediate families and any companies and their subsidiaries that are sponsoring and/or promoting the Contest. By participating in Contest, the Participant declares that he/she is an Indian citizen with a valid proof of his/her identity and is of competent age for taking part in the Contest.
25. Participants acknowledge that he/she will not hold B4U and/or any of B4U’s Agents with regard to this Contest, liable for any loss or opportunity, monetary loss due to their participation in the Contest.
26. Non-conformance by any participant and/or winner of the Terms and Conditions contained herein will disqualify the participant from participation or winning as the case maybe.
B4U reserves all rights to make amendments to the existing rules/ terms and conditions contained herein at any time without prior notice.
27. B4U reserves the right to cancel/ postpone/ stop/ terminate the Contest in its sole discretion without any prior intimation.
28. B4U reserves the right to disqualify any Participant(s)/Winner(s) from participating in the Contest without assigning any reason whatsoever. The decision of B4U and/or the Channel in this regard shall be binding upon the Participant(s)/Winner(s).
30. B4U is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the Terms and Conditions contained herein. All information provided in the Contest is provided "As is" without warranty of any kind. B4U makes no representations and disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties of any kind to the participant and/or any third party including, without limitation, warranties as to accuracy, timeliness, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
31. Under no circumstance, unless due to gross negligence, shall B4U and/or their directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, be liable to the participant and/or any third party for any lost profits or lost opportunity, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever, even if B4U has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The participant specifically agrees not to file in person/through any family member and/or any third party any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India against B4U and/or their directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries to claim any damages or relief in connection with the Contest.
32. Participants/Winners release B4U and its respective divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, branches, directors, officers, employees and Agents, as well as all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Contest and the awarding and use, misuse or possession of the prize, including liability for personal injury, except where prohibited or limited by law.
33. In consideration of participating in the Contest, the participants/Winners hereby irrevocably, exclusively and perpetually assigns all rights, titles and interest to the Company in and to the text/patriation form or any parts thereof submitted with the entry and/or the answer, during or pursuant to the Contest, including rights in any forms of intellectual property including but not limited to right to use, add, alter, translate, adapt any entry made including but not limited to for use of the same on the world wide web (internet), publication, communication to the public in any other form of media for the entire world including without limitation television, film, radio and print media for advertising and publicity purposes of the Contest, the Channel and the Company, except where prohibited by law. The Winner further grant to the Company the rights to use and consent to use his/her name, voice or picture/photo, or the content of his/her participation in the Contest during or pursuant to the Contest.
34. The Winner(s) specifically agree and undertakes on behalf of himself / herself and his / her respective family members that he / she shall unconditionally make himself / herself and his / her family members available from time to time and co-operate with the Company and participate in any activity and/or campaign of any nature whatsoever ("Promotional Activity") without any consideration whatsoever payable to the Winner(s) for the same. The Winner on behalf of himself / herself and his / her respective family members allows, grants and permits the Company or any party authorized by it to record (audio-video/audio or video), his /her and /or his / her family member’s appearances, participation, performance, acts ,any interaction of the Winner(s) and /or his / her family members within themselves and /or with any celebrities, media or any third party or any representative of the Company or any related series of sound recordings and video recordings which have been shot during the designated match at the venue and/or as part of the Promotional Activity on film, tape or digital or other electronic media and includes recording of any personal questions or conversations relating to the personal lives of the Winner and /or his / her family members (“Footage”) and agree that the Footage may be used by the Company as it deems fit anywhere in the world at any time now or in the future. The Winner agrees and acknowledges on behalf of himself and his / her family members that all rights in the Footage vests exclusively with the Company worldwide in perpetuity and the Company is entitled to exploit the same in any manner it may deem fit across any media or platform whether existing now or which may come into existence into the future. The Winner further agrees and undertakes to execute on his / her behalf as well as on behalf necessary documentary as may be required by the Company in respect of the exploitation and use of such footages.
35. Unfortunately, the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure. Although we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data while it is being transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.
B4U reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of this
37. Contest and to alter or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice. The occurrence of any eventuality which is not covered under the scope of the Terms and Conditions stated herein shall be dealt with in the sole discretion of B4U. The decisions of B4U and its representatives shall be final and binding on all aspects of Contest.
The Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. All matters with respect to the Contest are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Mumbai only.
38. Your participation in the Contest will be construed as an acceptance of the above stated Terms and Conditions and you shall be eligible to receive promotional SMS/calls/emails from the Company and / or its Channel promoting the Contest.
39. In addition to the rules set forth herein, Participants may be disqualified or eliminated from the Contest at B4U’s sole discretion without providing any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, any of the following reasons:
- i. Breach of any rule/regulation directly/indirectly pertaining to the Contest;
- ii. Breach of any agreement in connection with the Contest;
- iii. Breach of terms and conditions provided herein by the Participant by participating in the Contest.
- iv. Violation of any local, city, state or central laws, rules, or regulations; or bye-laws.
40. If any fraud, deceit or other action is only discovered after the Prize has been released i.e. post featuring in the Content of B4U, the Winner undertakes to indemnify (or provide compensation) to B4U forthwith upon discovery by B4U towards such loss, damage caused in relation thereto including third party claims.
41. The Participant acknowledges that his/her participation in the Contest shall be voluntary and at his/her own will and risk.

42. participate in the Contest, agrees that the Participant/Winner shall hold harmless and indemnify the Company, or any of its channels, its affiliates, its group companies, their employees, officers, directors, Agents or any other person from and against any injury/damage/harm/losses/ death/ mental or emotional trauma suffered by the Participant(s)/Winner(s), in any manner whatsoever in connection with the Contest, the Contest mechanism and/or the Prize won and/or the related travel, conveyance, accommodation, food and beverage and any other related situation provided by the Company that is forming part of the shoot day(s) and/or any material submitted forming part of the participation and/or any Personal Information submitted by the Participant(s)/Winner(s) and to the extent permissible under law waives all rights to file in person through any family member and/or third party any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India to claim any damages or reliefs.
43. Company is in no manner whatsoever responsible and/or shall not be held liable in any manner whatsoever, for any physical injury, death, mental and/or emotional trauma caused to the Participant(s)/Winner(s) in any manner whatsoever, in relation to the Contest including the shoot(s) agreed and accepted to be concluded by the Winner forming part of the Prize granted under the Contest.
44. Each Participant in consideration of being given opportunity to participate in the Contest, agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Company, its affiliates, its group companies, their employees, officers, directors and/or any other person from and against any suit/ litigation/ injury/ damage/ harm/ loss suffered by Company in connection with any act of the Participant(s)/Participant(s) Entry and/or the Contest including any third party rights claims with respect to the material submitted as participation process by the Participant(s).
