"Disgusting”: Sara Tendulkar Slams Paparazzi Page Over Derogatory “Moti” Comment
Sara Tendulkar slammed a paparazzo for a body-shaming caption, calling the behaviour “disgusting” and drawing a firm line against celebrity harassment culture.
The relentless and toxic nature of modern paparazzi culture has crossed the line once again, and this time, Sara Tendulkar is refusing to stay silent. The popular internet personality and daughter of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar recently took a firm stand against a paparazzo for a highly inappropriate and body-shaming comment, sparking a wider debate about the erosion of personal boundaries in celebrity journalism. The incident unfolded when a Mumbai-based paparazzi account, run by an individual identifying as Tahir Jasus, posted an airport spotting video on Instagram.

The clip featured Sara alongside her sister-in-law, entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok, who recently married Sara’s brother, Arjun Tendulkar, in March 2026. While the video simply showed the two women walking toward the terminal, the overlaid Hindi caption was shockingly demeaning: “Moti wali Sara hai, bagal wali bhabhi hai.”
Unwilling to let the derogatory remark slide, Sara immediately took to her Instagram Stories to name and shame the account in front of her millions of followers. Sharing a screenshot of the offensive post, she directly tagged the paparazzo and delivered a scathing rebuke: “You are disgusting. This is not journalism. Leave. Us. Alone.”
In an apparent attempt at damage control following the immediate online backlash, the photographer quickly deleted the video. However, Sara made it clear that taking down the post did not absolve him of accountability. She followed up with a sharp second remark: “You can delete your post, but that doesn't make you any less disgusting,” punctuating her statement with nauseated emojis.
Sara Tendulkar’s strong response has reignited crucial conversations about the nature of niche social media spy accounts. Unlike mainstream entertainment media, these pages frequently rely on objectification, intrusive camera angles, and blatant body-shaming to drive clickbait engagement.
Sadly, Sara Tendulkar is not the only public figure to face such harassment recently. Just days prior, actress Patralekhaa also had to hit back at insensitive social media pages targeting her postpartum physical appearance. Patralekhaa passionately defended herself, stating, “Yes I have gained the weight, which seems like an unnatural phenomenon to you all. I have not sat and eaten a mountain, I just delivered a baby and produced two films simultaneously... For God's sake please learn to be a little kind.”
Furthermore, superstar Salman Khan also recently lost his cool at paparazzi who were intrusively clicking him outside a Mumbai hospital, reprimanding them and questioning if they would behave the same way if it were their own family member admitted there.
By pushing back and explicitly stating that such behaviour is "not journalism," Sara Tendulkar has drawn a necessary line in the sand. Beyond her poised public appearances, Sara is a highly educated professional – holding a Master's degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London, running her own Pilates Academy in Mumbai, and recently stepping into the role of Director at the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation.
Her swift shutdown of the paparazzo serves as a powerful reminder that public figures are not punching bags for online engagement, and body-shaming should never be normalised under the guise of celebrity spotting.
