Superstar Salman Khan is not one to hold back when his boundaries are crossed. On Tuesday night, a tense encounter between the Bollywood star and the paparazzi unfolded outside a Mumbai hospital, quickly escalating into a heated confrontation. The dramatic incident, which has since gone viral across social media platforms, culminated in the actor issuing a fiery warning to the press on his Instagram account, reminding them that despite his age, he has not forgotten how to fight.

The incident took place when photographers initially spotted Salman Khan’s vehicle waiting at a traffic signal. Eager for a scoop, the paparazzi trailed his car all the way to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, where Salman was visiting an undisclosed individual. According to reports, the actor maintained his composure upon arriving and entering the medical facility. However, the situation rapidly deteriorated as he stepped off the premises later that night.

In a desperate bid to grab his attention and secure their footage, a group of photographers began loudly chanting, "Bhai, bhai, Maatrubhumi!" – a direct reference to his upcoming film. The insensitive timing of the promotional shouts outside a hospital proved to be the tipping point for Salman.

“Pagal ho gaye ho?” the furious actor lashed out, angrily gesturing towards his forehead. In the clips circulating online, Salman can be seen walking directly towards the stationed photographers, confronting them about their lack of empathy. He sternly questioned how they would feel if it were one of their own family members admitted to the hospital facing such a spectacle. Realizing they had crossed a line, the photographers were heard issuing apologies to the superstar.

However, the apologies were not enough to quell Salman's anger. As the videos gained traction online, the actor took to Instagram to publicly slam the paparazzi's invasion of privacy and their blatant lack of sensitivity. Sharing an image of himself, he expressed his disappointment in the press – a group he noted he has interacted with and helped earn their "bread and butter."

"If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain," Salman wrote in his caption. He emphasized that if photographers want to profit from his personal losses, the least they can do is remain quiet and not enjoy the situation. Expressing his sheer frustration over the movie chants, he wrote, "bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life.”

In a subsequent, even more blistering post, the actor issued a severe warning to those exploiting emotional and vulnerable situations for content. "Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena," he wrote, challenging them to try this stunt again when someone he cares about is in pain. He reiterated his point by asking if he should react the same way if their family members were hospitalized.

Concluding his statement, he delivered a line that immediately sent shockwaves: "Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa." As of now, the identity of the person Salman was visiting remains a mystery.

The chants that sparked the outrage centred around ‘Maatrubhumi’, a film currently undergoing a massive creative overhaul. Originally titled ‘Battle of Galwan’ and reportedly inspired by the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese armed forces in the Galwan Valley, the project has since shifted gears.

Makers have officially changed the title, completely dropped all references to China and the Galwan Valley, and are reportedly conducting extensive reshoots. An official release date for the revamped project has not yet been announced.
