Ananya Panday celebrated sister Rysa’s NYU graduation with a heartwarming photo dump packed with family moments, fashion snapshots and dreamy city aesthetics.
Ananya Panday is officially the proudest big sister in town. The ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ actress flew across continents to cheer on her younger sister Rysa Panday as she graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and naturally, she returned with a photo dump that's part sentimental, part fashion-girl diary, and 100 per cent scroll-worthy. The carousel, captioned “My chuchu is a graduate + a few of my fave things and if you get till the end you areeeee,” racked up love from over 562K fans, including actress Raashii Khanna.

Even Rysa herself jumped into the comments to playfully roast her sister with, “Too much MJ for my grad post” – more on that in a bit.

The dump kicked off at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, where the marquee proudly declared "NYU Class of 2026 Congratulations NYU." Ananya was seen planting a sweet kiss on Rysa's cheek, who looked every bit the beaming graduate in her purple Tisch gown, clutching a gorgeous bouquet of roses, snapdragons and thistle. A family portrait followed, with father Chunky Panday and mother Bhavana Pandey joining their daughters under the marquee – a picture-perfect family moment for the books.
True to her word, Ananya Panday peppered the dump with her “fave things”. There was a stunning solo shot of her in a shearling-trimmed suede trench, white tee, and dark wide-leg denim, posed against a plant-filled window – pure off-duty fashion gold. Another frame showed Rysa in a candy-striped pink shirt, a maroon Chanel silk scarf tied bandana-style, and a beige Chanel flap bag, snapped near the sea lion pool at Central Park Zoo.
Then came the scene-stealers: a pair of black cowboy boots embroidered with “True Love Lasts Forever,” a ridiculously cute red panda mid-stroll, a stroll through what looked like a tropical conservatory, a flowering tree against the Central Park skyline, and a reading-by-the-pond moment that screamed main-character-summer.
Rysa was then spotted indoors holding a tiny tiered congratulations cake, looking radiant in a floral corset dress. Another street-side family picture captured the Pandays together – Bhavana in white, Chunky in denim, Ananya in a sleek black coat, and Rysa carrying her bouquet. A dreamy NYC sunset skyline and a Marcel Zago street pole art of Michael Jackson (yes, the one Rysa called out) made their way in too. The dump ended with a glimpse of the Tisch ceremony at Radio City and – true to Ananya's playful streak – a leopard-print couch styled with hot pink pillows.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya was last seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, marking their second collaboration together. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Dharma Entertainment, the film also starred Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff.
Ananya Panday can now be seen in ‘Chand Mera Dil’ opposite Lakshya. The movie released in cinemas today.
