At long last, Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ has finally hit the theatres. After several postponements, Buchi Babu Sana’s sports drama is now available for cinephiles worldwide to watch, and the film's early reception is positive. Fans of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor are flocking to theatres to catch the project on its first day of release. As the word of mouth continues to spread, Ram Charan's wife, Upasana Konidela, has emerged as the biggest talking point.

Acting like the perfect cheerleader for her husband, Upasana truly embraced the 'Peddi' mania, joining the fans to watch the film inside a theatre in Hyderabad. Several videos are now going viral on social media, showcasing the entrepreneur cheering enthusiastically for her husband and soaking in the thunderous reception.

Upasana Konidela was spotted laughing, cheering and joining in the celebrations. In one clip, she is also seen picking up paper bits strewn across the floor. She then tossed them into the air, adding her own personal touch to the confetti-filled frenzy inside the auditorium.

After watching the film, Upasana was asked about her reaction to the project. She issued a one-word reply, saying, "Amazing." When Upasana was making her way out of the theatre, she was surrounded by Ram Charan's fans, and the security had to escort her out.

Speaking of 'Peddi', the film premiered on June 3, just a few hours before its full-fledged release on June 4. The sports drama follows a man as he searches for identity through various sports. In the film, Ram Charan's character is shown wrestling and playing cricket.

'Peddi' is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment, the movie is presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Peddi' sold more than 8 lakh tickets on the opening day, grossing Rs 20.66 crore before the first show. As of 11 AM on Thursday, 'Peddi' had already earned Rs 10.66 crore, and the film is expected to collect more than Rs 30 crore on its opening day.
