The wait is finally over! The official trailer for John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh-starrer 'Vedaa' is out now. The film is slated to release in cinemas on August 15, 2024, and days ahead of the upcoming release, the makers on Thursday evening unveiled the trailer, and if the clip is anything to go by, then we are in for a hell of a ride, come this Independence Day. The latest Hindi movie trailer is a power-packed one, and it shows how John Abraham's soldier character teams up with Sharvari Wagh to save the "constitution of India."

We are shown some high-octane action scenes, in which, John Abraham and Sharvari can be seen getting their hands dirty, and engaging in hand combat.

Abhishek Banerjee is playing the role of the main antagonist, and the trailer perfectly sets him up as a menacing character, who is inflicting pain on some castes of the society. We can also see Sharvari's character going through some personal turmoil, and it acts as motivation for her to team up with John Abraham's character, who serves as a guru for her.

For the unversed, 'Vedaa' will be clashing with Shraddha Kapoor's 'Stree 2' and Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein', at the box office.

For the unversed, apart from John Abraham, Abhishek Banerjee, and Sharvari, 'Vedaa' also stars Tamannaah Bhatia.

Presented by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment, the upcoming film has been directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arrora.

‘Vedaa’ has been produced by Zee Studios, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and John Abraham and co-produced by Minnakshi Das.

'Vedaa' was certified by U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) earlier this week.

"Vedaa has been certified U/A by the revising committee of the Central Board of Film Certification without a single cut. The makers have been advised to put a disclaimer at the beginning and the entire content has got a clean chit from the certification body," Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.

"The team of Vedaa is very happy with the smooth process and appreciates the fact that the CBFC team could relate to the important issue they are trying to address through the film," the source added.
