Now that we have got the disclaimer out of the way, let's proceed to talk about the big bombshell twist that no one saw coming. In the latest Hollywood news, when the premiere date for 'Succession' Season 4 was set, we all knew someone would eventually succeed the media mogul Logan Roy. But boy, oh boy, we did not anticipate that 'Succession' would pull off its biggest twist in just the third episode of the season, with still seven episodes to go.

Logan Roy is no more! Yes, you read that right, Brian Cox's character has been killed off in the show. Now, it needs to be seen who from his large adult children wins the Iron Throne.

In the latest Hollywood news, as soon as the episode was aired, netizens made their voices heard on Twitter, and to say that they are shocked, would be an understatement.

“When Jesse told me that was going to happen, I wasn’t totally surprised. I thought it made sense dramaturgically. And then when I read the script, I found it shocking and emotionally devastating,” Strong said in the post-episode interview, reported The Hollywood Reporter. 

“Time and time again I’m given something where I think it’s the limit of what I’m capable of as an actor. Here’s my wall. And then you have no choice but to go through that. And this episode was one of those," he added.

'Succession' had first premiered in 2018. The show which stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun and J. Smith-Cameron, enjoys a great fan following.

Over the course of previous three seasons, ‘Succession’ has earned 48 Emmy nominations, and has won 13. 

Created by Jesse Armstrong, the series follows media baron Logan Roy and his four children, Kendall, Shiv and Connor as the siblings compete to take over the family media company Waystar Royco.
