Priyanka Chopra Joins Viral ‘Kinda Chic’ Instagram Trend With Career-Spanning Photo Dump. See Pics
From animal-print throwbacks to marrying Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra’s “Kinda Chic” carousel is a cheeky ride through her wildest eras – capped with a caption that mocks the trend itself.
Global sensation Priyanka Chopra has become the latest big name to hop onto Instagram's viral "Kinda Chic" trend – and, true to form, she did it with a wink. Sharing a sprawling carousel on her official handle over the weekend, the ‘Barfi’ actress rounded off the montage with a caption that gently roasted the format itself: “Kinda chic to hate this trend”. For the uninitiated, the “Kinda Chic” trend has swept social media as a soft-flex, self-love format, where users pair photos with one-liners about the things that quietly make them feel stylish, confident and unbothered.

The post doubled as a highlight tour of her journey. It opened with a sultry throwback in an animal-print bikini captioned “Kinda chic to have been underestimated,” a nod to the doubters she outlasted. Next came a fierce stage-performance shot – "Kinda chic to start over in your 30s" – a knowing wink at her mid-career pivot to Hollywood. A beach frame where she stood apart from a line-up of models in a bold pink swimsuit read "Kinda chic to stand out," while a fake-blood-drenched, horror-styled selfie was captioned "Kinda chic to play more... unless it's the victim."
She kept the momentum going with a rugged, rubble-strewn action still – "Kinda chic to move continents without a plan" – and a fresh-faced photo captioned "Kinda chic to be in my 90s era in the 90s." A glossy early-2000s glam group portrait got the label "Kinda chic to have started as a baddie." This one also featured Bollywood actresses Dia Mirza and Amrita Arora.
Then came the personal beats. A red-carpet snap of her laughing beside husband Nick Jonas was captioned "Kinda chic to have met your husband at the Met Gala," while a goofy yacht selfie – Joe Jonas crowned in a sparkly tiara – read "Kinda chic to wake up and chose violence". A punchy portrait in a red ISRO tee got "Kinda chic to be on the ISRO merch mailing list," and a dramatic blonde-wig look was captioned "Kinda chic to say no without any explanation."
The back half leaned tender. A colour-drenched, playful frame with Nick read "Kinda chic to marry my Bollywood hero"; a poolside cuddle with little ones was captioned "Kinda chic to have your baby be best friends with your best friend's baby"; and a backstage hug with her daughter got "Kinda chic to be a little human's safe space." She signed off with a sun-soaked beach shot of Nick reaching for her hand – "Kinda chic just to try... and see what happens."
The comments section lit up too, with Nick Jonas, Ayushmann Khurrana, Dia Mirza and 'Fashion' co-star Mugdha Godse – who called PeeCee her "first n fav co-actor" – all showing love.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka is gearing up to play Mandakini in SS Rajamouli's ambitious Telugu epic 'Varanasi', opposite Mahesh Babu and alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, currently slated for an April 2027 release.
