Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has officially drawn a hard line in the sand, initiating fierce legal action against the creative team behind the upcoming film, ‘Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy’. The project, which appears to draw heavily from the highly publicized legal battles surrounding the actor, has now found itself at the centre of a massive real-life legal firestorm.

On April 24, 2026, Salman Khan’s legal team sent a sternly worded notice aimed squarely at the film's key players. The extensive legal document targeted casting director Akshay Pandey, alongside the film's director, Bharat S Shrinate, and its producer, Amit Jani. According to the notice, the development and impending release of the movie represent a gross and direct violation of the actor's personality rights. Salman Khan's representatives are leaving no room for ambiguity, officially categorizing the cinematic endeavour as highly defamatory in nature.
