For this appearance, Pooja Hegde slipped into Anita Dongre’s Nozomi Woven Benarasi Skirt Set in Black from the designer’s Rewild 2026 collection. Taking to Instagram, Pooja Hegde shared stunning photos and clips of herself in the modern ethnic outfit.

According to the brand, the ensemble reimagines the traditional dupatta into a contemporary silhouette and is handcrafted by master artisans in Banaras. The set consists of a bandeau top and a matching skirt crafted from 100 per cent silk, featuring intricate woven gold-toned Benarasi motifs against a rich black base.
The strapless bandeau top showcased dense geometric and floral-inspired weaving across the bodice, creating a striking contrast against the actress’ minimal styling. From the back, the top featured a lace-up fastening that added a delicate contemporary touch while ensuring a structured fit. The high-waisted skirt hugged her frame before falling into a long, column silhouette. Traditional gold motifs spread across the skirt in repeating patterns, while ornate woven borders running down the sides added dimension and visual length. The skirt also featured slits on either side, allowing the otherwise traditional textile to feel modern and fluid.

Pooja Hegde elevated the ensemble with statement jewellery from Sheetal Zaveri by Vithaldas. She wore the label’s Keri Choker, an ornate necklace featuring intricate floral detailing and a pendant drop that sat elegantly along the neckline. Complementing it were the Avanthika Earcuffs, which added a contemporary edge without overpowering the outfit. She also wore a few delicate rings, keeping the focus firmly on the craftsmanship of the ensemble and jewellery.
Her beauty look echoed the sophistication of the outfit. Pooja Hegde wore her dark hair in a sleek, centre-parted style, left straight with a smooth, glossy finish. Her makeup featured softly sculpted cheeks, warm neutral-toned lips, subtly defined eyes, fluttery lashes, and a radiant complexion.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Pooja Hegde had a busy 2025, starring in the Hindi film ‘Deva’, the Tamil film ‘Retro’, and appearing in the special song in ‘Coolie’. Her film ‘Jana Nayagan’, co-starring Vijay, Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol, was slated for a January 9 theatrical release but was stalled due to a delay by Central Board of Film Certification. The new release date is yet to be announced.
Up next, Pooja will be seen in David Dhawan’s ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. The movie, co-starring Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur, is set to release in theatres on June 5.
