Jay Singh (Jackie Shroff) is an aspiring IPS candidate who witnesses the murder of a crusading journalist. When the corrupt system frames Jay for the crime, he must become a police officer to turn the tables and exact "final justice" against the underworld don, Lala Ranjan.

Vijay falls in love with Sadhana and marries her, but on several occasions, he is disrespected by his in-laws. Frustrated, he loses interest in his married life.

Balram, a rogue, who works for crime lord Bajrang decides to kill inspector Rakesh for sending him to prison. However, he changes his mind when he learns a secret about Rakesh.
