In a viral video, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi can be seen pushing an IndiGo employee at the airport. The video has caused an outrage on social media.
Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi is one of the most famous actors to come out of India, but in the latest entertainment news, the actor is receiving flak on social media. For the unversed, a video is going insanely viral on social media in which Chiranjeevi can be seen pushing a fan, who was just trying to click a selfie with him. In the viral video, Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha can be seen being accompanied by ground personnel. It was then that a man working for IndiGo Airlines approached the actor for a selfie, but he was ignored. When he still tried to pursue the actor, Chiranjeevi shoved him aside and went on his merry ways.

Just because #Chiranjeevi is a decent man, even after having hectic flight journey, he simply pushed the person for constantly bothering him for a selfie.

But if there was another star at that place, he would have shot him with his gun or would’ve thrown his phone. pic.twitter.com/i9iBaFZFXJ
The internet is now miffed with the behaviour of Chiranjeevi.
"Chiranjeevi Rude Behaviour with Fans Airport,” wrote one fan.
“The ground staff accompanying him asked the man to step aside. Isn’t it wrong of him to approach a man who just took a long flight and is accompanied by his family? There’s something called civic sense, because Chiranjeevi is a good person, he just nudged him," another user wrote, as he defended Chiranjeevi.
"Mana abhimana hero em chesina venakesukoste ela mastaru. (Just because we like him we can’t justify it)," wrote one user.
Another user commented, "Vallu emi mana laga economy class lo raru. Business or first class lo vastharu with all amenities like home feeling or else charted flights lo vastharu inka luxury ga. (It’s not like he travelled in economy like us, he came in business or first class or a chartered flight).”
For the unversed, this is not the first time that Indian film celebrities have received flak for ignoring fans at the airport.
Earlier, a video of Nagarjuna’s bodyguard pushing a specially-abled fan out of the way went viral. The actor then apologised, saying he didn’t see what happened at the airport.
Later, he also met the fan and took a selfie with him.
Tamil superstar Dhanush also received criticism after his bodyguard pushed a fan at Juhu Beach in Mumbai.
Coming back to Chiranjeevi, the actor will next be seen Malladi Vassishta’s 'Vishwambhara'.
He had recently attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris with Ram Charan, Upasana, Klin Kaara and Surekha.
