Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar have announced the arrival of their baby boy, Vedavid.

Bollywood actress Yami Gautam and director Aditya Dhar, who tied the knot in June 2021, have been blessed with a baby boy. The couple on Monday made a joint announcement on Instagram, confirming the birth of their baby boy, who they have named Vedavid. As per the Instagram post, Yami Gautam gave birth to her son on Akshay Tritya (May 10). Sharing a mystical picture of a mother and son, the couple wrote, “We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beloved son. Vedavid, who graced us with his birth on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritya. Please shower him with all your kind blessings and love. Warm Regards, Yami & Aditya."

"We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible," the couple wrote on Instagram. 

"As we embark on this beautiful journey of parenthood, we eagerly anticipate the bright future that awaits our son. With every milestone he achieves, we are filled with the hope and belief that he will grow to become a beacon of pride for our entire family as well as our beloved nation," the caption stated further.

For the unversed, Vedavid is a Sanskrit name which refers to someone who is “well-versed in the Vedas.” 

Yami and Aditya had tied the knot in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh in 2021. 

On the work front, Yami Gautam was last seen in 'Article 370', which was backed by Aditya Dhar. The movie emerged as an unlikely box office hit. The movie made more than Rs 75 crore in India.
