Yami Gautam and Priyamani's 'Article 370' has bowled over the Indian audience, and the new Hindi film continues to earn money at a brisk pace at the box office. 'Article 370' has been praised by both critics and audiences, and going by the current trend, it looks like that the new Hindi movie will emerge as a success story, despite facing stiff competition from Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'. In the latest entertainment news, 'Article 370' has suffered a huge blow as the new Hindi movie has been banned in Gulf countries. As per a report by news agency ANI, the new Hindi film has been banned in all Gulf countries, however, no reason has been given behind this decision.

This is not the first time that a Hindi film has been banned in Gulf countries. Earlier, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor's 'Fighter' was also banned in Gulf countries, except the UAE. 

Talking about 'Article 370', Yami Gautam plays the role of Zuni Haksar, an intelligence officer. The movie revolves around the removal of Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

For the unversed, the Central Government on August 5, 2019 removed Article 370, which gave special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. The government then bifurcated the region into the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also talked about 'Article 370' film while he was addressing a gathering in Jammu.

"I have heard that a film on Article 370 is going to be released this week… It is a good thing as it will help people in getting correct information," he said.

Responding to PM Modi's speech, Yami Gautam on Instagram wrote, "It is an absolute honour to watch PM @narendramodi Ji talk about #Article370Movie. My team and I really hope that we all exceed your expectations in bringing this incredible story to the screen."

As per Sacnilk, ‘Article 370’ minted Rs 9.60 crore on Sunday, which was the third day of its release. The total nett domestic collection of ‘Article 370’ now stands at an impressive Rs 22.90 crore.

‘Article 370’ is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, while it has been bankrolled by ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ director Aditya Dhar.

The new Hindi film also stars Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, and Kiran Karmarkar.
