Aditya Dhar Backs 'Hanuman Ansh' After Vishal Chaturvedi's Rs 2 Crore Film Yields Astonishing Returns

Vishal Chaturvedi’s 'Hanuman Ansh' has turned a low-key theatrical release into a remarkable box office success, crossing Rs 130 crore in India. As the devotional film continues to draw audiences, 'Dhurandhar' director Aditya Dhar has publicly shown his support for the project. Aditya Dhar shared the film’s poster on his Instagram story, tagging Vishal Chaturvedi and adding Om, love and folded-hands emojis. His gesture came shortly after Varun Dhawan spoke about his own experience watching the film.

Varun Dhawan recently revealed that he watched 'Hanuman Ansh' in a theatre with his mother. Sharing his reaction on Instagram, the actor urged audiences to watch the film with their parents and friends.

Varun said he had not been asked to make the video and had chosen to share his thoughts because he genuinely wanted to. He also spoke about his childhood connection with Lord Hanuman, saying the film had left him with an experience he found difficult to describe as an ordinary movie.
The actor went on to praise lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa and Vishal Chaturvedi’s direction, calling their work brilliant. His recommendation has added to the growing attention around the film.
"Please go to the theatre and watch Hanuman Ansh. I just went with my mom, and it was an amazing experience. Take your parents, go with your friends. I highly recommend this film to everyone. No one had told me to make this video, neither had anyone called me; I just wanted to do this. I have had a connection with Lord Hanuman since childhood, but this is something else. This is a purely made film. I will not even call it a film; it’s something divine. You go and experience it," he wrote on Instagram Stories.
"Shobhinaw Satyaa ji is brilliant in the movie. What a performance. And Vishal ji, the direction you did, hats off. Brilliant stuff. Please everyone go and watch the film," he added.
The success of 'Hanuman Ansh' has also brought renewed attention to Vishal Chaturvedi’s earlier comments about the challenges of making the film. In a recent podcast, the director said that several Bollywood personalities had contacted him to congratulate him after the film began performing well.
However, he claimed that some of those same people had not helped when he had approached them earlier seeking support for the project. Chaturvedi chose not to name the individuals.
Based on the life of spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba, 'Hanuman Ansh' has reportedly been made on a budget of around Rs 2 crore. According to the figures issued by industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 132.13 crore in nett collections in India within 32 days of its release.
