The trailer of 'Welcome To The Jungle' is out.

The makers of the highly anticipated comedy extravaganza have finally dropped the official trailer for ‘Welcome To The Jungle’. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film promises an absolute sensory overload, immediately setting a meta, self-referential tone by cheekily billing itself in the opening frames as “India's First 2000 Cr. Fake Film”. Boasting one of the largest ensemble casts in recent Bollywood history, the trailer offers a loud, explosive, and thoroughly chaotic glimpse into what appears to be a massive heist or scam disguised as a military film shoot.

The trailer kicks off with a script-pitching session before launching into a highly unconventional character introduction.

Instead of a traditional background score, the film's massive cast creates the music a cappella style. The screen lights up with rapid-fire introductions of Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Daler Mehndi, Aftab Shivdasani, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Farida Jalal, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Zakir Hussain, Kiran Kumar, Vindu Dara Singh, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, and finally, Akshay Kumar. The sequence even jokingly credits a CGI “Gorilla” as part of the cast.

While the exact storyline remains tightly under wraps, the trailer heavily relies on the premise of a fake movie shoot. Akshay Kumar makes his hero entry amidst an explosion, only to be immediately shown casually applying roll-on deodorant.

The narrative shifts to a sprawling, fake military training camp where the actors are put through their paces. Lara Dutta is seen cracking a whip as an army instructor, while Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty gear up for combat. The meta-humour is dialled up when real Indian military forces arrive, leading Akshay's character to frantically admit to an angry mob that they aren't real soldiers, just actors trying to earn their "rozi roti".

'Welcome to the Jungle' leans heavily on nostalgia and established comedy tropes. In a direct callback to the beloved ‘Welcome’ franchise, Suniel Shetty and Arshad Warsi are introduced to a brand new, absurd painting. This time, instead of a donkey on a horse, the masterpiece features “a horse on top of a donkey”.

Raveena Tandon shares a dramatic, tearful moment with Akshay, claiming she has been suffering for "20 years," only for Disha Patani and Rajpal Yadav’s characters to brutally interrupt and dismiss her as "purani chawal".

In a standout comedic exchange, Akshay Kumar confronts Daler Mehndi, mocking his name "Daler". Daler Mehndi fires back with a hilarious defense, noting that his wife's name is Shanti (peace) and his sister-in-law is Sharmili (shy), proving that names don't dictate behaviour.

The climax of the trailer features a massive, chaotic argument inside a command tent. Despite the comedy, the production value teased is massive, featuring horseback cavalry charges, helicopter stunts with Akshay and Disha hanging from the skids, massive explosions, and fighter jets launching from aircraft carriers.

The trailer ends with its release date of June 26. In a fitting post-credits sting, Akshay Kumar stands in front of a giant bank vault, looking directly at the camera to deliver the final punchline: “Trailer khatam, paisa hazam”.

Fans of the franchise and slapstick Bollywood comedies clearly have a massive, explosive, and star-studded theatrical experience waiting for them in 2026.
