Ranveer Singh shared a picture of his "rockstar nana", confirming that the 93-years-old stepped out in the scorching heat to cast his vote.
Bollywood celebrities such as Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, stepped out in the scorching heat of Mumbai on Monday to do their duty as citizens of the country and cast their vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024. In the latest entertainment news, Ranveer Singh on Tuesday confirmed that even his 93-year-old grandfather performed his duty as a citizen to cast his vote. Sharing a picture of his grandfather with a policeman, Ranveer Singh wrote on Instagram, "93yrs old. 93°F outside. But he voted. He’s a voter! My Rockstar Nana," Ranveer Singh wrote on Instagram.

For the unversed, in 2023, Ranveer Singh had introduced his "nana" to the world. In an Instagram post, Ranveer Singh shared a heartwarming post, saying that his nana is the embodiment of the character Rocky in Karan Johar's film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.
In the video posted by Ranveer Singh, the actor was seen vibing with his maternal grandfather to the song 'What Jhumka'.
In another clip, Ranveer Singh's grandfather said, "Tikki chhodo. Tequila lao."
"Nana is peak Rocky-ism! 93 and Rock(y)ing!!! such a #Heartthrob," Ranveer Singh wrote.
Ranveer will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer ‘Singham Again’. Apart from ‘Singham Again’, Ranveer Singh will also star in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’.
He has reportedly also been roped in to play Shaktimaan. As per a recent Pinkvilla report, Ranveer Singh will play the main role in the Basil Joseph directorial. The movie is said to go on floors in May 2025.
