Punjabi singer Karan Aujla had an unexpected moment during his Adelaide concert as a fan threw a jacket onto the stage while he was performing. The incident briefly disrupted the otherwise energetic show, with Aujla visibly irritated by the gesture before eventually choosing to handle the situation more calmly. For the unversed, Karan Aujla is currently touring Australia as part of his P-Pop Culture Tour, and videos from his Adelaide performance have been circulating widely on social media.
The clips show the singer mid-performance when a jacket lands on the stage. Rather than immediately confronting the person responsible, Aujla picked up the jacket and continued singing. It was only after completing the performance that he addressed the fan from the stage. "If you’ve got the guts, come face me. Let’s see if you’re really your father’s son," said Aujla.
"You are in love, aren’t you? Tu pagal hai?” he added.
After finishing the song, Karan Aujla questioned the fan's decision to throw the jacket at him and challenged him to come forward. The singer then appeared to identify the person responsible and continued speaking to him from the stage. While his initial response was stern, Karan Aujla soon shifted to a calmer tone and asked the fan what he wanted.
The interaction took an unexpected turn when Karan Aujla suggested that the fan might simply have been trying to express his admiration. He eventually asked the person to hand over the jacket so that he could sign it, while also making it clear that fans should avoid throwing objects towards performers during concerts.
“Don’t do this, darling. You are in love, aren’t you? I’m not here to make fun of you. Don’t waste my time. You are in love, aren’t you? Are you in love? Don’t do this, darling. You are in love, aren’t you? Yes, you are. What do you want? Give me that; let me sign that,” the singer said.

Several social media users appreciated that Karan Aujla did not abandon his performance or let the incident completely derail the concert. Some fans described his response as calm and controlled, particularly because he completed the song before addressing what had happened. Others used the incident to remind concertgoers that performers should be treated with respect and that objects should not be thrown onto the stage.
Known for tracks such as ‘Softly’, ‘Chithiyaan’, ‘Mexico’ and ‘52 Bars’, Karan Aujla has established himself as one of the prominent names in contemporary Punjabi music, with his songs enjoying a strong following among listeners in India and overseas. The singer is scheduled to perform in Melbourne on August 18 and 19 as the Australian leg of his P-Pop Culture Tour continues.
