The dump kicked off with a showstopper of a first slide – Malavika seated at an outdoor wooden table at the resort, dressed in a deep wine-red strapless dress, holding a cocktail glass, with tropical greenery and a thatched pavilion framing her perfectly. From there, the carousel took us through what looked like an absolutely perfect few days in paradise. A stunning cocktail shot early in the dump showed a round coupe glass topped with foam and decorated with a colourful artistic print – Mandapa's signature theatrical beverage presentation – held up against a backdrop of the resort's infinity pool and the endless Ubud jungle.

Another drink photo featured an elaborate multi-tier cold drip apparatus on a wooden stand, with green-yellow liquid slowly filtering through glass chambers – an experience as visual as it is indulgent, with purple orchid flowers and a brass candle holder completing the tablescape.
The resort itself was a character in the dump. Malavika photographed Mandapa's grand open-air lobby corridor – dark wooden pillars, thatched ceiling, decorative dried garland hangings, and stone lotus lantern pedestals lining the walkway – as she strolled through it in a sage grey kaftan with a long-layered gold necklace, woven white flats, and sunglasses in hand. The same kaftan appears in multiple shots, styled effortlessly with gold bangles and a structured brown leather bag as she lounged on an outdoor daybed surrounded by tropical greenery.
Two particularly striking balcony shots showed Malavika in the sage kaftan – in one, she stood tall under a massive traditional Balinese thatched pavilion, gazing upward as the jungle canopy stretched behind her. In the other, she leaned against the railing of a thatched terrace, looking back over her shoulder with the dense green Ayung River valley and a glimpse of water below her.
A cosy interior shot gave a peek into her villa – a beautifully appointed room with dark teak wood panelling, a built-in window seat with white cushions and mauve pillows, lush tropical plants framed through the window, and a traditional Balinese mural painting on the wall. A fruit basket and welcome notes sat on a side table – the full luxury treatment.
The dump also featured Malavika in a pink gingham midi dress standing in front of a traditional Balinese thatched stone garden structure, surrounded by banana leaves and tropical blooms, smiling with a small drink in hand – pure holiday joy. A later shot had her in a white lace-trimmed sleeveless top and colourful printed batik shorts, a large woven straw tote over her arm, looking down casually as the resort's water features and traditional architecture filled the background.
Evening shots were equally gorgeous. A moody blue-hour photo captured the resort's bar terrace – candles flickering on tables, cocktails glinting in the low light, the dark jungle silhouetted against a deep blue sky. The resort's dramatic nighttime lobby, lit entirely by rows of candles in tall bamboo-style lantern holders with reflective water on either side, made for one of the most atmospheric architectural shots in the set.
Malavika also captured the cultural soul of Bali – a finely crafted traditional Balinese figurine with a gold headdress and intricate black-and-silver coin-like detailing, set against a carved wooden lattice wall; and a moss-covered Balinese stone statue draped in traditional black-and-white poleng cloth with an orange sash and a red hibiscus flower tucked in – quiet but beautiful nods to the island's spiritual richness.
Rounding the dump out were two wonderfully relaxed personal shots – a fresh-faced, no-makeup poolside selfie with damp hair and a sage printed robe, and a peaceful legs-up moment on the lawn by the infinity pool at night, floral shorts, woven mule sandals, and a woven bag beside her as she looked out at the illuminated jungle.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Malavika Mohanan was last seen alongside Prabhas, Nidhhi Agerwal and Sanjay Dutt in ‘The Raja Saab’.
