The dress featured a sleek, body-skimming silhouette with a softly flared hem that moved fluidly around her frame. Delicate halter-neck and thin spaghetti straps framed the shoulders, while the open back with a low, scooped cut added a touch of sensuality without tipping into overt drama. The classic black base was punctuated with evenly spaced white polka dots, giving the dress a retro-inspired charm that felt both playful and sophisticated.
The fabric appeared lightweight and fluid, allowing the dress to drape naturally and skim the body rather than cling tightly. This softness enhanced the femininity of the look, while the minimal construction kept the focus on Malavika’s posture, movement and confidence. The slip-style cut gave the outfit an effortless, almost nonchalant glamour.
Malavika Mohanan paired the dress with statement sculptural drop earrings in black and metallic tones, which mirrored the colour palette of the outfit without overpowering the simplicity of the silhouette.
