“Hit It Out Of The Park”: Alia Bhatt Gives Shoutout To Varun Dhawan Following 'Border 2' Mania
Alia Bhatt showered praise on Varun Dhawan following the smashing success of 'Border 2'.
Ahead of the 'Border 2' release, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan was being talked about left, right and centre on social media. The 'Main Tera Hero' star was subjected to intense scrutiny and trolling following his expressions in one of the film's promotional materials. However, the arrival of the project in theatres has changed it all around for the actor, and it seems it's Varun who has had the last laugh.
The Anurag Singh directorial, which serves as a sequel to JP Dutta's iconic 'Border', is raking in the moolah at the box office and the film is all set to emerge as the highest-grosser of Varun's career.
Varun is garnering praise from all corners and the latest to publicly laud the actor is none other than his friend and ‘Student of the Year' co-star Alia Bhatt. The 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' actress took to Instagram to laud everyone associated with the project.

It is worth mentioning that in 'Border 2', Varun has portrayed the role of Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, PVC, Indian Army officer from 3 Grenadiers.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Border 2' earned Rs 59 crore on Monday, the fourth day of its release. The total nett domestic collection of the film currently stands at Rs 180 crore. 'Border 2' earned Rs 30 crore on the opening day of its release and followed it up with earnings of Rs 36.50 crore and Rs 54.50 crore in the next two days.
Set against the 1971 India–Pakistan war, 'Border 2' stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, alongside Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana. It is produced by the powerhouse team of Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta.
