Watch: Akshay Kumar Pranks Nargis Fakhri, She Can’t Stop Laughing
Akshay Kumar, who is known for his good sense of humour, pulled a prank on co-star Nargis Fakhri during the trailer launch event of ‘Housefull 5’.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who made a grand return to the comedy genre with ‘Khel Khel Mein’ last year, is coming out with yet another rib-tickling film. The Khiladi Kumar is gearing up for the release of 'Housefull 5', which is going to hit the theatres on June 6, 2025. Earlier this week, the makers unveiled the trailer for the film with all 19 actors in attendance. Akshay Kumar, who is known for his good sense of humour, pulled a prank on co-star Nargis Fakhri during the trailer launch event, and this left Riteish Deshmukh and Sonam Bajwa in splits.
In a video going viral on social media, Akshay Kumar can first be seen greeting Nargis with a warm hug. Soon, the actor placed a paper on Nargis’ back which read, “Sajid Nadiadwala.”
As soon as Nargis realised what Akshay had done, she started laughing. Sonam Bajwa then helped the actress remove the sheet of paper.
After seeing what was written on the paper, Nargis started to laugh even louder. She then pasted the paper on Akshay Kumar’s back.

During the trailer launch event, Jackie Shroff talked about how Akshay is the biggest prankster on the sets. Speaking to the media, he said, “Yeh sabse bada prankster hai. Itne bade bade joker hai, sabse bada jisne abhi bola hai woh safed suit mein hai.”
“Iske saamne koun kuch bol sakta hai. Ek number ka badmaash hai,” he added.
'Housefull 5' has been directed by Tarun Mansukhani. As per the trailer, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan are the main suspects for a murder.
The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Panday, and more.
During the trailer launch event, producer Sajia Nadiadwala also revealed that 'Housefull 5' will be released in theatres with multiple endings to keep the audience guessing.
"I have been thinking about this idea for the past 30 years - how to create a thriller with an X factor that leaves the audience talking long after they leave the theatre. So I came up with a story where every theatre will have a different killer," he said.
"So if you watch it at Gaiety, it’ll have one killer. If you watch it at Galaxy, there’ll be somebody else. In PVR screen number 4, you’ll see a different killer, and in PVR screen number 5, yet another one. It’s like every time you watch the film, you’ll get a different ending," he added.
