However, amidst the chaotic demands of stardom, the duo recently managed to steal some precious time away for a serene family vacation. Following the successful theatrical release of her high-octane action film ‘Alpha’ last month, Alia recently took to social media to give fans a rare, intimate glimpse into her family getaway, proving that her favourite role is undoubtedly being a mother to her daughter, Raha.

In one of the most heartwarming frames, little Raha can be seen comfortably seated between Alia and Ranbir, soaking in the exotic, endless views of the sea. Another tender photograph captured a quiet moment of motherhood, showing Alia peacefully sleeping right beside Raha on a bed. Adding a touch of vacation glamour to the photo dump, Alia also included a stunning mirror selfie dressed in chic white beachwear. Summarizing the relaxing vibe of the getaway, she captioned the post: “Good old days, cuddles and all.”

The vacation pictures served as a beautiful visual follow-up to Alia's recent reflections on motherhood. Making an appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival last year – where the event hosted a special retrospective celebrating her cinematic journey – Alia opened up about how profoundly her life has shifted since Raha's arrival. She affectionately noted how much her daughter has grown, stating during a conversation stage, “The last time I was here, Raha was one and now she is three. Where are you, how far away, what are you bringing me when you come back.”
She further elaborated on Raha's growing awareness of her parents' fame, adding, “Now, Raha has her own relationship with the paparazzi, and is old enough to ask me where I am going, and when I will be back.” Alia even shared sweet details about singing her daughter's favourite lullabies, revealing that Raha now specifically requests her to sing “this or that song”.
It is clear that family dictates her professional choices today. During the same event, she firmly noted, “My priorities are my daughter and my family so I have to focus on what really matters,” when discussing the process through which she picks her projects.
Fans have cherished watching this love story unfold ever since the two fell in love on the sets of ‘Brahmāstra’. After dating for several years, the couple tied the knot in April 2022 and welcomed Raha in November of the same year. They later delighted the world by making their first public appearance with Raha on Christmas 2023.
On the professional front, the couple has massive projects lined up. Alia Bhatt will be seen next in ‘Love & War’, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Meanwhile, Ranbir is gearing up for his magnum opus, ‘Ramayana’. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and backed by Namit Malhotra, the epic is mounted on a staggering reported budget of Rs 4,000 crore. The star-studded cast features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, with Arun Govil, Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, and Lara Dutta playing key roles.
The massive cinematic spectacle will be released in two parts, with the first installment scheduled to hit theatres during Diwali 2026, followed by the second part during Diwali 2027.
