Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has given fans a warm look at her family's Ganesh Chaturthi. The actress shared the pictures on Instagram with the caption “the week that was Ganpati Bappa Morya”. The carousel covered the whole week, from pooja and aarti to the visarjan. The post has already crossed 2.6 million likes. The carousel opened with a striking frame of Alia in a blush-pink ensemble. She leaned into an ornate mandap to adjust the crown on the Ganpati idol, with fairy lights, marigold-wrapped pillars and a carved silver canopy around her.

In one of the most talked-about frames, Alia and husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor stood with folded hands in prayer. Their daughter Raha prayed beside them, with her face covered by a white heart emoji. Another picture showed Alia, Ranbir and mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor performing aarti together while family and staff looked on. A top-angle shot captured the family seated before the grand mandap during the pooja, with Alia resting a hand on Ranbir's shoulder and little Raha sitting cross-legged in front.

A close-up of the idol also made it to the dump, showing its gold crown, fresh flowers and yellow drape.

For the week-long festive event, Alia opted for pink and yellow-coloured suits on different days. The pink look had heavy chandbali earrings linked to her hair with layered pearl chains, and two solo portraits showed them up close. The yellow look was a sleeveless mustard kurta with a sheer, embroidered dupatta. She wore it with a sleek bun decorated with orange and yellow chrysanthemums, which one picture showed from behind. There was also a solo shot of Alia kneeling with the aarti thali, and a portrait of her smiling by a balcony railing.
The carousel also included a moody portrait of the actress in a sage-green tissue saree with oversized statement earrings. Alia also added a few candid moments too: a soft close-up selfie, a mirror selfie in a lift, and happy selfies with the women of her family. Her mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt were among those who joined the Kapoor family for the festivities.
A top-angle shot showed little Raha colouring a picture of Lord Ganesh. She was dressed in yellow with a pom-pom in her hair and a painted peacock on her hand. The carousel ended with a stone Ganesha idol in the family's pooja space and a night-time visarjan. The idol was immersed in a flower-decked tank as family members and staff gathered around.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia was last seen in ‘Alpha’, which released a couple of months ago. She will next star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’. The movie, set to release in 2027, will also feature Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
