Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has officially sent the internet into a frenzy by sharing a massive collection of behind-the-scenes (BTS) glimpses from the sets of her new action extravaganza, ‘Alpha’. Captioned “A few pages from our Alpha diary,” the dump offered an unprecedented look into the sheer physicality, grit, and high-octane drama that the YRF Spy Universe film brought to the silver screen. The extensive collection of photos and video snippets showcased an entirely new avatar of the actress, trading her usual glamorous roles for mud, sweat, blood, and heavy weaponry.

The “Alpha diary” opened up with an image of Alia looking blissfully serene while covered in thick mud, posing amidst a forested area with leaves woven into her hair as an operative in camouflage stood behind her. Another stunning sun-drenched close-up selfie captured her natural freckles and a small alpha symbol tattooed on her right shoulder.

However, the peaceful vibe quickly shifted to pure adrenaline. A dramatic video snippet showed a rain-drenched Alia in a sleek black tactical suit standing on a wooden trench ramp, listening closely to an instructor before pulling herself up on a rusty metal bar. The intensity peaked in a visceral, slow-motion night video capturing the actress fiercely punching and ducking through a torrential downpour, completely immersed in character.

Her combat-heavy role was further highlighted through a series of gripping production stills. A moody, orange-lit shot showed a bruised Alia in a black tank top staring intensely into a misty mirror, surrounded by cryptic, handwritten grid papers taped to a textured wall.

A short video captured the Bollywood actress standing under a heavy artificial water shower on a dusty exterior set, complete with a military-style watchtower looming in the background. A jaw-dropping still captured her mid-air, delivering a powerful high kick right into the chest of a tactical gear-clad masked adversary inside a gritty, pipe-filled industrial facility.

Demonstrating extreme core strength, another shot showed her strapped into a harness, scaling up heavy, rusted industrial chains in a brick warehouse. An iconic, tightly cropped heroic shot captured her looking dead into the camera with absolute steel in her eyes, dual-wielding handguns with tactical fingerless gloves. Another stunning frame showcased her in a physical tussle, aggressively disarming a masked operative wielding a massive assault rifle.

The other images dived deeper into the rigorous training and behind-the-scenes transformation behind the film. One striking image featured a mud-smeared, battle-worn Alia aiming a handgun forward with a deadly stare, her face completely darkened with soot. In stark contrast, a domestic sequence photo revealed her inside a beautifully lit vintage room, engaged in a high-stakes struggle where she was being shoved backward while holding a shotgun against her co-star Sharvari.

The relentless physical demand of the film was captured in a workout video showing the actress from behind, aggressively powering through wide-grip lat pulldowns to build her muscular back profile. Another candid photo taken from behind showed her hair tightly braided, with her entire back, tank top, and tactical sling bag completely covered in thick sand and dust on a blue-screen studio set.

A tight close-up monitor shot highlighted the makeup department's work, showing a realistic, bloody gash right across the bridge of her nose as she glared off-camera. Despite the gruelling schedule, the dump featured warm moments of respite – including a beautiful scenic shot of a full moon hanging over snow-dusted, jagged mountain peaks, and a lovely candid shot of Sharvari laughing warmly in a black puffer jacket next to Alia on set.

The entire visual journey wrapped up with a heartwarming, soot-covered smile from Alia directly to the camera as a crew member adjusted her wardrobe, proving that despite the brutal action, the team had the time of their lives building India's first female-led spy universe film.

‘Alpha’, co-starring Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, released in theatres on July 3. Featuring Hrithik Roshan in a cameo appearance, the film has so far made Rs 37.85 crore in India and Rs 63.64 crore worldwide.
