Popular content creator Abhishek Malhan has extended his support to communities affected by the devastating Assam floods, joining hands with the True Hope Foundation to contribute towards relief and long-term rehabilitation efforts in the state. The floods, which began in Assam on July 19, left several communities battling extensive damage and displacement. Golaghat emerged as one of the worst-affected districts, with more than 71,000 people impacted, while thousands of residents in Sivasagar and Jorhat were also affected by the flooding.

Abhishek, widely known online as Fukra Insaan, has now taken his relief efforts beyond immediate assistance. In a recent Instagram post, the YouTuber shared a glimpse of his involvement in the restoration of a Hanuman temple that suffered damage during the floods. The video showed the extent of the damage around the site, including the area where the Hanuman idol had been placed. Abhishek was seen taking part in the initial steps of the rebuilding process, beginning with a coconut-breaking ceremony. He also interacted with residents and distributed food to people in the affected community.

His visit highlighted the continuing challenges faced by flood-hit families even after the immediate crisis begins to recede. While rescue operations and essential supplies remain crucial during a disaster, rebuilding homes, places of worship and other community spaces is equally important for affected residents attempting to return to normal life.

“Bajrang Bali ne mujhe yeh saubhagya diya ki main Hanuman Mandir ke nirmaan mein apna chhota sa yogdaan de sakun. As a proud Hindu, this feeling is truly beyond words. Aaj humne pooja ke saath is pavitra kaam ki shuruaat ki. Humne mandir ke nirmaan ke liye Rs 5 lakh ka yogdaan dene ka sankalp liya tha, lekin True Hope Foundation Rs 5 lakh ko yeh initiative itna pasand aaya ki unhone apni taraf se Rs 15 lakh aur jodne ka faisla kiya,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Ab milkar lagbhag Rs 20 lakh ki lagat se ek sundar Hanuman Mandir ka nirmaan kiya jayega. Paise se zyada mere liye yeh baat matter karti hai ki Bajrang Bali ne mujhe is punya kaam ka ek chhota sa hissa banne ka mauka diya. Jai Bajrang Bali! Jai Shree Ram,” Abhishek Malhan added.
