Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently made a surprise appearance on the sets of Amazon Prime Video’s reality show ‘Alliance’, hosted by actor Kunal Kemmu. Dressed in a casual all-denim outfit paired with a cowboy hat, Salman briefly posed for the paparazzi on Wednesday evening before heading inside. His visit, which coincides with the show's ongoing family week, was driven by a heartwarming purpose: to support his younger brother, Sohail Khan, who entered the competition as a wildcard contestant.

Salman's visit comes at a crucial emotional point in the season. Sohail had just experienced the departure of his ex-wife and fellow wildcard contestant, Seema Sajdeh, leaving him visibly emotional and vulnerable. During a recent episode, Seema voluntarily exited ‘Alliance’ after requesting fellow contestant Kushal Tandon to vote her out. Respecting her decision, Kushal chose to eliminate Seema and save actress Daisy Shah instead.

Stepping in as an elder brother, Salman entered the house to meet Sohail, offer encouragement, lift his spirits, and motivate him to continue his journey on the show.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Salman’s entry is specifically meant to boost Sohail's morale. The superstar reportedly spent around an hour on set sharing tips and guidance to help Sohail strengthen his gameplay as the grand finale draws closer. Salman is no stranger to mentoring reality show contestants, frequently offering candid feedback and strategies during his ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episodes as the long-time host of ‘Bigg Boss’.

Sohail was left heartbroken by Seema's exit. Before she left, he told her he didn't want her to leave, adding that they might never get an opportunity to spend such beautiful time together again. In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Seema shared that Sohail’s emotional reaction stemmed from the time they spent together on the show, which gave them a rare chance to reconnect and share space following their separation. She noted that while the show was outside of Sohail's comfort zone, the friendships he formed inside helped him adapt to the format.

The former couple, who eloped in 1998 to have an Arya Samaj wedding followed by a nikkah, share two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. After 24 years of marriage, they officially divorced in 2022. On the show, Sohail openly reflected on their past. When contestant Nikhil Chinapa asked him, "Aurat ghar ko bigaad bhi sakti hai aur bana bhi sakti hai. Aapke ghar mein kiska haath tha?" Sohail honestly responded, "At that time, kaam theek nahi chal raha tha, so I wasn't in the right frame of mind. Because of my behaviour, I lost someone I truly loved."

He further praised Seema, stating, "Live civil, be happy. She is the mother of my two beautiful children, so more than love, I have immense respect for Seema. This will always remain a memorable show for me. Though we are separated, this show has brought us back together to talk and confide in one another. There was a missing link between us, and this show helped reconnect it."

‘Alliance’, which premiered on June 26, started with 16 celebrity contestants competing in pairs, dubbed “Allies”. The lineup featured Ravi Kishan and his daughter Riva Kishan, Kushal Tandon and Arslan Goni, Daisy Shah and Zaid Darbar, Mini Mathur and Nikhil Chinapa, Niti Taylor and Ruhee Dosani, Vanshaj Singh and Dolly Javed, Payal Dhare (Payal Gaming) and Sabby Suri, alongside Delbar Arya and Armaan Khera.

With the August 6, 2026 finale approaching, several contestants have already been eliminated, including Ravi, Nikhil, Riva, Armaan, Vriddhi Patwa, Dolly, and Delbar.

Beyond his visit to ‘Alliance’, Salman Khan has been in the news for his recent ill health, though he assured fans on social media that he is doing well.

On the work front, the superstar's upcoming film ‘Maatrubhumi: Let There Be War’ is expected to release around Independence Day. He also has an untitled Eid release in the works under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner presented by Dil Raju, and will soon return to host ‘Bigg Boss 20’, which is expected to release in the first week of September.
