Aamir Khan Productions has officially clocked 25 glorious years, and the banner marked the milestone with a star-studded celebration that doubled up as a silver-jubilee tribute to its very first film, ‘Lagaan: Once Upon A Time’ in India. Aamir Khan hosted the grand event on June 13 in Mumbai, drawing Bollywood celebrities for a night filled with nostalgia, reunions and memorable moments. The production house has now shared a warm photo dump from the evening on Instagram, and every frame is a snapshot of industry love.

The image everyone is talking about the most is the heartfelt embrace between Aamir Khan and Salman Khan – the two superstars, one in all-black and the other in a leather jacket, holding each other in a tight hug that instantly went viral. Elsewhere, the legendary Rekha looked resplendent in an ivory saree with her signature temple jewellery as she shared the stage with Aamir, while Kareena Kapoor Khan brought soft glamour in a pastel pink suit.

The candid group frames were just as special. Aamir struck a joyful pose alongside Jackie Shroff, Kajol, Juhi Chawla and filmmaker Kiran Rao, who turned heads in a monochrome handloom saree. Kiran also shared a relaxed stage moment with Aamir during the evening's on-stage conversation about the studio's journey.

The night turned into a proper ‘Lagaan’ and Aamir Khan Productions family reunion. ‘Lagaan’ director Ashutosh Gowariker posed with Jackie Shroff, while acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani – who shaped Aamir's ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’ – was spotted deep in conversation in the audience. Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar was caught mid-laugh, and the ever-graceful Shabana Azmi looked striking in a handloom saree. Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha added to the warmth, beaming through the festivities.

Away from the posed shots, the evening's real charm was in its unscripted masti – playful stage antics, friends pulling each other in for selfies, and easy, affectionate laughter rippling across the room.

Founded in 2001, Aamir Khan Productions has delivered some of Indian cinema's most beloved films, from ‘Lagaan’ – nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film – to ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘PK’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Secret Superstar’ and the recent ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. 25 years on, the banner's anniversary night was a fitting celebration of a legacy built on stories that entertain, inspire and endure.
