The Pataudis are back on the famous velvet couch, and they are bringing an unmatched blend of royal charm and unhinged humour. The highly anticipated promo for ‘Koffee With Karan Season 9’, Episode 4 has officially dropped, revealing Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan as the upcoming guests. Set to stream on Wednesday at 7 PM on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar, the teaser promises an episode packed with signature Kareena sass, Saif’s deadpan comedic timing, and Karan Johar’s infectious hysteria.

Right from the vibrant opening shots of the iconic Koffee mug rotating on the table, the promo establishes a celebratory yet hilariously chaotic tone.
Check out the promo video here:
Karan Johar, dressed in a striking black jacket embellished with ornate silver detailing, introduces his guests as the "always dazzling Kareena Kapoor Khan, and the endlessly charming Saif Ali Khan". The couple looks immaculate; Kareena commands attention in a bold red power pantsuit pinned with a sparkling silver eye brooch, while Saif exudes classic sophistication in a sharp navy pinstripe suit paired with a light blue shirt.
The banter kicks off immediately when Karan welcomes them to the final season of the pop-culture phenomenon. When asked how she feels about it, Kareena responds with brutal honesty, stating she is "quite happy and relieved in a way" because they will no longer have to keep returning to the show. Karan sarcastically thanks her for her sensitivity toward his show's curtain call, while Saif quietly interjects, "I think I'm slightly miscast on this show," sending Kareena into a fit of laughter.
A significant highlight of the promo involves a classic moment of self-love from the original ‘Poo’ of Bollywood. Sitting next to a cushion fittingly embroidered with "Main Character Energy," Karan asks who the current number one female star in Bollywood is. Without skipping a beat, Kareena answers, "The one sitting opposite you". When Saif playfully reminds his wife that she is allowed to praise other people, she hilariously defends herself.
The energy shifts into high gear during the buzzer round, where the couple goes head-to-head at their podiums. Karan challenges them to name actors whose names start with the letter 'K'. After Kareena swiftly names Katrina and Konkana, Saif scrambles to list "Kunal" and "Kangana" before desperately shouting "Kavita!". A confused Kareena asks, "Who's Kavita?" to which Saif delivers the ultimate deadpan defense: "There must be an actress called Kavita".
The rapid-fire chaos only escalates from there. When Karan mentions the phrase "nepo baby go mainstream," Saif immediately points a finger at the host and blames him, prompting Karan to yell out in defense while Kareena bursts into loud laughter. However, the most jaw-dropping moment is saved for the end of the teaser. Karan reads off a shockingly explicit question about bleaching, and Saif answers with complete, nonchalant composure: "After bleach or before?". Kareena is visibly mortified, clutching her head in disbelief and yelling, "Saif! What is happening on this show?!" as Karan literally walks off the set in hysterical laughter.
The official JioHotstar Instagram account perfectly summarised the mood, teasing fans with the caption, "We're all in for a royal spill". This appearance marks a major milestone for the couple, as they first appeared together on the show during Season 3 back in 2010 when they were still dating. Now, returning 16 years later as a married powerhouse for the show's final 22-year run, Kareena and Saif are clearly ready to give viewers an unforgettable, completely unfiltered episode.
