Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan will appear as the guests on the finale of the Netflix show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ Season 4.
The makers of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ dropped the promo for the Season 4 finale recently, offering a glimpse of the upcoming episode featuring actor Varun Dhawan and his father, filmmaker David Dhawan, as special guests. The promo has already caught viewers’ attention, especially for Sunil Grover’s impressive portrayal of the late legendary actor-writer Kader Khan. In one segment of the promo, Sunil Grover appeared dressed as Kader Khan and recreated a scene with striking accuracy.

As he delivered the line, “Idhar ao,” Archana Puran Singh reacted in amazement, saying, “Oh my God.” David Dhawan also appeared visibly impressed by the act and remarked, “Kader yaad agaya bhai.”

Sunil Grover has recently been winning praise for his uncanny impersonations of several film personalities, including Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. His performances show how he has evolved beyond his earlier popular comic characters like Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati from Kapil Sharma’s show.
Fans also echoed David Dhawan’s reaction, showering praise on Sunil Grover after the promo was released. One user commented on YouTube, “Sunil Grover Day By Day Is Dangerous Than AI!” while another wrote, “Sunil Grover as Kader Khan Sahab.”

Season 4 of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ has released 12 episodes so far. The finale episode will begin streaming at 8 PM on March 14 on Netflix. The season featured several high-profile guests including Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff, Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, AP Dhillon, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rani Mukerji, Karthik Aaryan and Orry, among others.
The promo also featured a light-hearted exchange between Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan about working together. When Varun was asked how difficult it was to work with his father, he smiled before David jokingly responded, “He questions everything. I ask him to do it because I said so.”
Varun then joked about his father’s legendary director image, saying that at home things are quite different. “At home, the visual isn’t one of a legendary director. He sits around in a lungi. Now that Rohit and I are married, he has begun to wear a T-shirt at home,” Varun quipped. The actor then hugged his father, making it clear that the playful comment was all in good humour.
