Watch: Kangana Ranaut Blasts Ram Kapoor Over His Gameplay In ‘Lock Upp Season 2’
Kangana Ranaut confronted Ram Kapoor over his gameplay in ‘Lock Upp’, as the actor continued to make headlines with multiple controversies during the show's opening week.
The second season of ‘Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa’ has officially kicked off on Netflix, and it is already delivering the high-octane drama reality TV fans crave. Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, the controversial reality series launched last week with a fresh batch of 15 celebrity contestants, including actors, popular influencers, and reality television personalities. However, it is veteran television actor Ram Kapoor who has found himself squarely in the eye of the storm during the show's explosive first week.
From the very first day in the makeshift jail, Ram's statements and gameplay have dominated the narrative. Initially, the actor attempted to fly under the radar. By trying to play it safe and actively avoiding any bad blood with his fellow inmates, he quickly caught the attention of the hosts. Farah Khan was the first to call him out on this diplomatic strategy, but the real fireworks were saved for a very special guest.
Former host Kangana Ranaut made a fiery return to the ‘Lock Upp’ set to join Farah and Riteish. Her mission? To heavily scrutinize the performance of the contestants during their crucial first week. In a highly anticipated promo for the upcoming episode – which is slated to air next Saturday – Kangana specifically set her sights on Ram Kapoor, holding absolutely nothing back.
Questioning his commitment to the reality show, Kangana sharply asked the actor if he feels he is simply too superior for the platform. She stated, “Ram, game ko seriously nahi lena tha, aur agar lagta hain ki you are too big for this jail toh aap aayein ho kyu? Apni ye fuhadpan dikhane ke liye?”
Refusing to back down from the fierce interrogation, Ram responded to the Bollywood star by saying, “When the right time comes, I will own my truth as well and as better than anybody here.”

Unimpressed by his rebuttal, Kangana swiftly fired back with a stern warning: “Don't defend yourself if you want to improve.”
This intense showdown is far from the only controversy Ram Kapoor has sparked recently. Earlier in the show, the actor locked horns with fellow contestant Akanksha Chamola in a heated argument where he vehemently defended infidelity. Shocking many viewers, he argued that cheating is not an absolute end to a marriage.
Defending his stance, Ram stated, “If you really love your partner, nothing is a dealbreaker. Marriage is hard and it's a journey. You have to work at your marriage every day. There are highs and lows, good periods and bad periods, strong phases and weak phases. In a bad phase, if by mistake something happens, and you can't live without your partner or your children, then time heals everything and nothing is a dealbreaker.”
Adding to the rapidly mounting tension and backlash, the latest episode also featured a shocking moment where he forcibly kissed Varun Yadav, a move that immediately ignited severe criticism from audiences.
Meanwhile, the rest of the jailhouse is battling fiercely for survival as the first elimination looms. So far, Sunita Ahuja, Harshad Chopda, and Akanksha Chamola have successfully escaped elimination. However, the fight is far from over for the remaining inmates. Currently, Shreya Kalra, Sufi Motiwala, Shrestha Iyer, Madhuri Grover, and Akanksha Choudhary find themselves in the danger zone this week, leaving their fate hanging in the balance.
With new episodes streaming on Netflix every Saturday to Wednesday at 8 pm, viewers will have to tune in to see exactly how Ram handles the pressure and who will be the first to pack their bags.
