Ananya Panday's 'Call Me Bae' To Release On This Date

We have known for a long while that Ananya Panday will be starring in Prime Video series 'Call Me Bae', but we did not know anything about when the series will be released on the platform. In the latest entertainment news, Prime Video has finally unveiled the release date for the series.
Prime Video India on Monday evening shared a new poster from the upcoming series, and revealed that 'Call Me Bae' will be releasing on the platform on September 6, 2024.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Prime Video's handle wrote, "update your calendars, things are about to glow up! #CallMeBaeOnPrime, Sept 6."

As per Variety, 'Call Me Bae' tells the story of Bae, a young woman who is "downsized from heiress to hustler after a scandal. She learns that her most valuable assets are not her diamonds, but her street smarts and style."
The show has been written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair. The eight-episode series is a Dharmatic Entertainment production. It has been created by Ishita Moitra and is directed by Collin D’Cunha.
Apart from Ananya Panday, the web series also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya Panday was last seen in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, directed by Arjun Varain Singh. The 2023 Hindi movie, which was released on Netflix, also starred Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
Ananya Panday received immense praise for her performance in the 2023 Netflix movie.
The Bollywood actress will be next seen in a cyber-thriller tentatively titled ‘Control’, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. She is also a part of Akshay Kumar’s ‘The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair’.
