Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma and Yuvraj Singh attended the Wimbledon 2026 men's singles final on Sunday.
The Wimbledon 2026 men's singles final between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev was a star-studded affair as the high-octane summit clash was attended by Indian cricketers Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson. Moreover, Yuvraj Singh, former India all-rounder and the Player of the Tournament in the 2011 World Cup, also made his presence at the Centre Court on Sunday. This was the first time the 15-year-old Sooryavanshi had watched a tennis match live.
Speaking to the broadcasters, the left-handed batter revealed that there was no plan to watch the 2026 Wimbledon final and that everything was arranged at the last minute.
“It is my first time here. I will watch the final and see how the players perform in such a big match,” Sooryavanshi said.
“I did not plan anything. We were in a hurry, so I arranged whatever I could find. Abhishek bhaiya helped me put everything together, and then I wore it," he added.
Abhishek, the Indian opening batter, shared multiple pictures with Sooryavanshi and Yuvraj on Instagram. The trio looked dapper in formal attire, keeping up with Wimbledon's dress code.
"Courtside," Abhishek wrote on Instagram.

During his visit, Sooryavanshi also stated that he has been following tennis for four to five years, and his favourite player is Serbian Novak Djokovic.
“I have been following tennis for four or five years now. I followed Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic while growing up. Abhi bhi Djokovic bohot pasand hai,” the youngster said.
“I really like Carlos Alcaraz among the current generation of tennis players, but he is not playing this year. As I followed the tournament, I was impressed by how Jannik Sinner dominated. So hopefully he will go on to win the final today,” he added.
Speaking of the Wimbledon 2026 final, Sinner prevailed over Zverev, winning the Grand Slam for the second year in a row. The Italian won the contest 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-4.
Coming back to the Indian team, Sooryavanshi recently became the youngest Indian debutant, breaking Sachin Tendulkar's record. However, his first series didn't go according to plan, as the Men in Blue lost 4-0 to England.
