The traditional Telugu wedding took place in the morning at 10:10 AM, celebrating Vijay’s heritage. Later in the evening, the couple hosted a second ceremony reflecting Rashmika’s Kodava (Coorg) lineage. While the guest list remained intimate – limited to close family, friends and a few industry insiders – the scale and aesthetic of the celebrations reflected unmistakable grandeur.

For the Telugu ceremony, both bride and groom wore custom ensembles by celebrity designer Anamika Khanna. Rashmika stunned in a rich rust saree bordered in striking red. The drape featured intricate temple-house motifs inspired by Hyderabad’s historic architecture, echoing carved sanctums and sacred geometry. As described by the designer, the saree was envisioned as a canvas of devotion – regal yet graceful – symbolising feminine strength rooted in tradition.
Her jewellery, crafted by Shree Jewellers, leaned unapologetically traditional and opulent. Rashmika layered temple-style necklaces, pairing a snug choker with long harams. Statement jhumkas, a maang tikka and a delicate nose ring enhanced the bridal look, while stacks of gold bangles completed the ensemble. She kept her beauty look soft and luminous, with defined eyeliner, a classic red bindi and neatly centre-parted hair styled in a traditional manner to let the jewellery shine.

Vijay Deverakonda’s attire was equally symbolic. Drawing from Hyderabad’s textile heritage and inspired by the strength of the Vanasingaram weave, he wore an ivory dhoti paired with a bold vermillion angavastram. The angavastram featured forest and temple-inspired motifs representing power, lineage and sacred architecture – elements chosen to signify continuity, pride and cultural belonging.
Shortly after the rituals, Rashmika shared an emotional note along with the photos introducing Vijay as her husband. In her heartfelt message, she called him the man who taught her what true love and peace feel like, the one who encouraged her to dream big and reminded her daily of her strength. She spoke about how he never stopped her from dancing freely, how travelling with friends became more joyful because of him, and how he shaped the woman she is today. Expressing gratitude, she wrote about being excited to be called his wife and described the moment as “full party time.”
Vijay also penned an intimate note, reflecting on a day when he realised how deeply he missed her presence – how meals felt incomplete, workouts less fun, and life less calm without her. “So, I made my best friend… my wife. 26.02.2026,” he wrote.
Dubbed ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’, the ceremony followed months after their private engagement in Hyderabad in October 2025. Their journey began with their on-screen pairing in the 2018 blockbuster ‘Geetha Govindam’, sparking romance rumours that only grew stronger over the years.
Following the wedding, sweets were distributed to paparazzi stationed outside the venue, marking the end of a long-awaited chapter for one of the industry’s most adored couples.
We wish the newlyweds a lifetime filled with love and joy!
