The mystery surrounding the it-couple of South Indian cinema, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, seems to be reaching a fever pitch. Following a confirmation of their engagement by Vijay’s team to HT in October 2025, sources have now suggested that the pair is set to tie the knot on February 26 in the scenic city of Udaipur. During a recent interaction with Prema, Rashmika was directly confronted with questions regarding the reported wedding date and venue. Rather than a yes or no, the actress took a philosophical approach to the ongoing speculation.
“It has been four years since these rumours began, right? And people have been asking the same question. People have been waiting for the same thing,” she noted.
While fans hoped for a formal confirmation, she remained tight-lipped, stating that she would speak about the matter only “when it's supposed to be spoken about”. Interestingly, she did offer to discuss the details with the host off the record, though she declined to do so on camera.
While official statements are rare, the couple's actions have spoken volumes. Since their reported engagement in October 2025, both have been spotted wearing rings. They also led the 43rd India Day Parade in New York and attended the Bharat Beyond Borders event together.
In November, Vijay Deverakonda made headlines by planting a kiss on Rashmika Mandanna’s hand during a success event for her film, ‘The Girlfriend’. Most recently, the duo celebrated the New Year on a group vacation with friends.
According to sources close to the couple, the wedding is slated for February 26 at a heritage property in Udaipur. Following the lead of their private engagement, the wedding is expected to be an intimate ceremony reserved for family and close friends. It remains to be seen if the couple will host a larger reception for their film industry colleagues in Hyderabad.
