Watch: Rashmika Mandanna Indirectly Confirms Wedding With Vijay Deverakonda
Rashmika Mandanna appeared to subtly confirm her wedding with Vijay Deverakonda after reacting to a paparazzo’s congratulatory remark.
Rumoured celebrity couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are reportedly set to tie the knot later this month in Udaipur. While the two have remained tight-lipped ever since news of their engagement leaked in October 2025, Rashmika Mandanna appeared to subtly confirm the much-talked-about February 26 wedding date during a recent interaction with a paparazzo. Back in December, a source close to the couple confirmed to Hindustan Times that Rashmika and Vijay are scheduled to get married on February 26 at a heritage palace in Udaipur.
According to the same source, the couple also plans to host a reception for their industry friends in Hyderabad after the wedding. Despite the growing buzz, neither Vijay nor Rashmika has made any official announcement regarding their wedding plans.
Fuel was added to the speculation after a paparazzo shared a video of his encounter with Rashmika at the airport. In the clip, the actress can be seen warmly waving at fans calling out her name. She later removed her mask at the paparazzo’s request and posed for photographs. When the photographer congratulated her, saying, “Congratulations, ma’am,” Rashmika smiled and asks, “Deniki ra? (For what?)” As he responded, “Wedding, waiting for 26th, ma’am,” Rashmika neither denied nor corrected him. Instead, she nodded her head and blushed, a reaction many fans interpreted as a quiet confirmation.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda first worked together in ‘Geetha Govindam’ (2018) and later reunited for ‘Dear Comrade’ (2019). While dating rumours followed them early on, it wasn’t until after 2020 that fans began noticing similarities in the backgrounds of their vacation photos, further fuelling speculation about their relationship. More recently, when Rashmika was asked about the wedding rumours by Prema, she responded, “It has been four years since these rumours began, right?” before adding, “But today, the truth is, I will speak about it when it’s supposed to be spoken about.”
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in ‘Kingdom’, which failed to make an impact at the box office, earning Rs 82 crore worldwide. He now has ‘Ranabaali’ and ‘Rowdy Janardhana’ lined up for release.
Rashmika Mandanna, meanwhile, enjoyed a far stronger 2025 at the box office with successful outings such as ‘Chhaava’, ‘Kuberaa’, ‘Thamma’, and ‘The Girlfriend’, while ‘Sikandar’ received a lukewarm response. She currently has ‘Ranabaali’, ‘Cocktail 2’, and ‘Mysaa’ in the pipeline.
