Yash Raj Films has officially pulled the curtain back on Ahaan Panday’s highly anticipated return to the big screen. The actor will be headlining Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming romantic action-drama, ‘Beparwah’, alongside Sharvari. The production house took to social media on Monday to unveil the film’s first poster, announcing a worldwide theatrical release for March 26, 2027. The striking poster sets an intense, dramatic tone for the film. Backed by a warm, sunlit horizon, it features Ahaan and Sharvari standing close with their heads touching, their faces turned downwards and partially hidden.

Hinting at a blend of violence and art, Ahaan is seen sporting a leather jacket and holding a handgun with bruised, bloodied knuckles, while Sharvari holds an acoustic guitar adorned with peace signs and floral stickers. The bold red title font anchors the visual, accompanied by the intriguing tagline, 'Fearless in love'.

YRF’s official Instagram post, captioned “Fearless in love... #Beparwah in cinemas on 26th March 2027,” immediately caught the industry's attention. The post has already been liked by over 144,000 users, including Bollywood star Varun Dhawan. In the comments section, Ahaan’s ‘Saiyaara’ co-star Aneet Padda showed her support, writing, "The best of the best. beyond excited!!". Actors Angad Bedi and Saiyami Kher also chimed in to express their excitement for director Ali Abbas Zafar, with Angad Bedi commenting, "Beautiful emotion... ‘Beparwah’ marks a significant milestone for Ahaan, being his first project since his massive breakthrough debut in Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’. The 2025 movie, which also starred Aneet Padda, shattered box office records by minting over Rs 570 crore, cementing its place as the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema history. This new actioner is the first of a two-film deal Ahaan has signed with YRF. Following ‘Beparwah’, the actor is slated to reunite with Aneet Padda and director Mohit Suri for a yet-untitled romantic drama.

The project is equally crucial for its leading lady and director. ‘Beparwah’ brings Ali Abbas Zafar – who serves as both writer and director – back to the Yash Raj Films fold, a banner for which he has previously delivered mega-blockbusters like ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. For Sharvari, the film is a return to YRF following the disappointing performance of her spy thriller ‘Alpha’. Directed by Shiv Rawail and co-starring Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol, the YRF Spy Universe entry tanked at the box office amid negative reviews.

However, Sharvari bounced back in 2026 with Imtiaz Ali’s critically acclaimed Partition-based drama, ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’. Sharing the screen with Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Diljit Dosanjh, the film earned close to Rs 100 crore worldwide.

Before ‘Beparwah’ hits theatres, audiences will see Sharvari in Sooraj Barjatya's romantic family drama ‘Ye Prem Mol Liya’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, which releases on November 27.
