Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's 'Deadpool & Wolverine' has gone past the USD 1 billion mark at the box office.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's 'Deadpool & Wolverine' has become the latest member of the billion-dollar club. In the latest entertainment news, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' has grossed USD 494.30 million in North America and USD 535.10 million internationally, as per Variety. The global total, as a result, now stands at USD 1.029 billion. 'Deadpool & Wolverine' has now become the second release of 2024, to surpass the billion-dollar mark. For the unversed, 'Inside Out 2' was the first film of 2024 to go past the USD 1 billion mark at the global box office. 

As per estimates, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' will be soon overtaking 2019's 'Joker' to become the highest-grossing R-rated film in history.

'Deadpool & Wolverine' is the 31st Disney film and 11th in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to reach the $1 billion mark, as reported by Variety.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's 'Deadpool & Wolverine' is now only the second MCU movie to surpass the USD 1 billion benchmark since 2019's 'Avengers: Endgame'.

'Spider-Man: No Way Home' was the first with USD 1.9 billion in 2021. 

In India, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' has so far made Rs 126.90 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. It needs to be seen whether the film manages to go past the Rs 150 crore mark or not.

For the unversed, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' brings back Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, whom fans last saw die in 2017’s 'Logan'.

The new Hollywood movie, directed by Shawn Levy, also stars Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni and Matthew Macfadyen. 

The new Hollywood movie is produced by Kevin Feige, Reynolds, Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner. Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey, Simon Kinberg and Jonathon Komack Martin are serving as executive producers.
