Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has carved out a fashion identity that thrives on glamour, femininity and a generous dose of drama. While body-hugging gowns and sultry dresses remain staples in her wardrobe, her Indian wear is equally striking. She frequently experiments with lehengas and sarees that celebrate traditional craftsmanship while embracing contemporary silhouettes. For this look, Janhvi Kapoor turned to Manish Malhotra in a custom mint teal lace lehenga set, a colour confirmed by the designer’s official listing. Taking to Instagram, hair stylist Aamir Naveed shared stunning photos of the young Bollywood actress in the lehenga.

The three-piece couture ensemble came hand-embroidered with Swarovski crystals and designed to shimmer from every angle. The lehenga followed a fitted mermaid silhouette, hugging her waist and hips before gradually flaring towards the floor. Tonal sequin embroidery covered the skirt, while delicate lace trims finished the waist and scalloped hem.
The blouse gave the traditional lehenga a distinctly contemporary twist. Its heavily embellished bodice featured a sweetheart-shaped bust framed by a sheer, crystal-encrusted high neckline and short sleeves, creating a dramatic cut-out effect across the chest. The same idea continued at the back, where a large cut-out left much of her back exposed. Janhvi completed the set with a sheer mint dupatta featuring a scalloped, densely embroidered border, worn loosely around her arms rather than traditionally over the shoulder.

Keeping the jewellery restrained allowed all that sparkle to remain the focus. Styled by Meagan Concessio, Janhvi Kapoor wore diamond earrings accented with emerald-green stones and delicate kaan chains that swept back into her hair. She also carried a matching mint Jimmy Choo Bon Bon bag, crafted in satin and lace with its distinctive bracelet-inspired handle.
Her beauty look continued the romantic mood. Hairstylist Aamir Naveed swept her dark hair into a textured high bun, leaving curled tendrils loose around her face. A sparkling hair chain woven around the bun added another jewellery-like detail. Janhvi opted for luminous skin, rosy blushed cheeks, defined lashes and shimmering rose-toned eyeshadow. Softly smoked liner added definition, while glossy pink-neutral lips kept the finish fresh.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor last featured alongside Ram Charan in ‘Peddi’. The sports action drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, released in cinemas on June 4. It minted Rs 341 crore worldwide and Rs 243 crore in India net.
Prior to this, Janhvi starred opposite Varun Dhawan in 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari'. The movie, co-starring Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, released on Dussehra 2025.
