Janhvi Kapoor turned heads in a dreamy ivory embroidered saree with a dramatic lace-trimmed pallu.

For the Delhi promotions of her new film ‘Peddi’, Janhvi leaned into understated romance, choosing an ethereal ivory saree that celebrated intricate craftsmanship, delicate detailing and classic femininity while retaining her signature glamorous edge.

Crafted from soft, fluid fabric, the saree featured a body-skimming silhouette that departed from conventional draping.
The skirt-like base created a streamlined foundation, while the drape was elevated by an extended cape-style pallu that cascaded elegantly over one shoulder. Layers of intricate floral embroidery were spread across the sheer ivory fabric, lending depth and texture to the monochromatic palette. The pallu was framed with a striking scalloped lace border, adding a romantic, vintage-inspired finish to the look.

The focal point of the ensemble was undoubtedly the heavily embroidered blouse. Rendered in a matching ivory tone, the fitted blouse featured cap sleeves and a flattering sweetheart neckline. Dense resham threadwork and floral embroidery covered the blouse, creating a rich contrast against the soft transparency of the saree. The cropped silhouette highlighted the structured craftsmanship. A decorative brooch placed at the waist secured the drape and doubled as an eye-catching embellishment, bringing additional detail to the otherwise muted colour story.
Janhvi Kapoor paired the outfit with ornate statement jewellery that introduced a touch of regal grandeur. She wore oversized traditional jhumkas, a striking hand cuff and bracelet stack, along with a statement ring featuring a prominent green stone that subtly punctuated the ivory palette.
For beauty, the Indian actress opted for soft glamour. Her makeup centred on radiant skin, gently flushed cheeks, softly smoked eyes and muted pink lips that complemented the romantic mood of the ensemble. A tiny bindi added a traditional finishing touch. Her hair was styled in loose, soft waves with a centre parting, cascading naturally over her shoulders and framing her face beautifully.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' opposite Varun Dhawan. The movie, co-starring Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, released on Dussehra 2025. Prior to this, Janhvi starred opposite Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Param Sundari’.
Janhvi can now be seen alongside Ram Charan in ‘Peddi’. The sports action drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, released in cinemas on June 4. It has so far minted Rs 187 crore in India net and Rs 271 crore in worldwide gross.
