Bhumi Pednekar exuded glamour and oomph in a sky-blue embellished gown.
Bhumi Pednekar has steadily established herself as one of Bollywood’s most experimental dressers, effortlessly switching between dramatic couture, edgy silhouettes and timeless elegance. Whether she is making a statement in sculptural gowns or embracing contemporary Indian wear, the actress rarely shies away from pushing fashion boundaries. At the same time, she understands the power of balance, often letting one standout element take centre stage. Her recent appearance is another reminder that glamour need not be loud when impeccable craftsmanship and refined styling do all the talking.
For the recent Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Awards, Bhumi slipped into the custom Lorene gown by Romanian designer Rhea Costa in a dreamy sky blue hue. Taking to Instagram, stylist Aastha Sharma shared stunning photos of Bhumi in the blue number.

Crafted with the label’s signature couture detailing, the floor-length gown featured an intricately hand-beaded finish that shimmered beautifully under the lights. The silhouette combined elegance with figure-enhancing structure through its fitted corset-inspired bodice that cinched the waist before flowing into a graceful column skirt with a subtle train. A softly draped cowl neckline lent the look fluidity, while the halter neckline beautifully framed her shoulders and collarbones.
Delicate ruching across the bodice and hips created flattering texture and added dimension to the otherwise sleek silhouette. The gown’s sculpted draping converged at the waist before cascading vertically, creating an elongated effect that further accentuated Bhumi’s frame. Every inch of the couture piece sparkled with intricate beadwork, giving it a luminous, almost crystal-encrusted appearance without overwhelming the silhouette.
While the runway version of the Lorene design also comes in an off-shoulder variation, Bhumi opted for the halter-neck interpretation, making the neckline the defining feature of her ensemble. She completed the look with delicate diamond earrings from Veda Diamonds and a statement ring by Archana Aggarwal Jewellery, keeping the jewellery understated so the couture craftsmanship remained the undeniable focal point.
Her beauty choices complemented the icy palette perfectly. Bhumi Pednekar styled her hair in a polished low bun with soft, wispy bangs framing her forehead, introducing a hint of vintage-inspired glamour while ensuring the halter neckline remained fully visible. The sleek updo also highlighted the floral knot detail at the back of the halter straps, an understated yet striking finishing touch.
Her makeup leaned towards radiant soft glam, featuring luminous skin, subtly contoured cheeks, softly smoked eyes accentuated with winged eyeliner, fluttery lashes and glossy mauve lips. A touch of highlighter added a healthy glow, while neatly groomed brows completed the polished finish.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi Pednekar recently featured in the Prime Video series ‘Daldal’. Prior to this, Bhumi starred alongside Ishaan Khatter in ‘The Royals’. Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday and Vihaan Samat featured in key roles in the Netflix show.
Bhumi Pednekar will reportedly next star alongside Imran Khan in his comeback film ‘Adhure Hum Adhure Tum’.
