Ananya Panday turned heads with her striking fusion ensemble.

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has steadily carved out a fashion identity that blends youthful modernity with a growing appreciation for Indian craftsmanship. Whether she’s stepping out in red-carpet couture or reworking traditional silhouettes with a contemporary lens, Ananya’s style evolution has been marked by confidence and clarity. She gravitates towards clean lines, experimental textures, and statement pieces that feel deliberate rather than excessive. Ananya’s fashion choices often reflect a balance between trend and tradition, making her one of the few young actresses who can carry bold concepts while still keeping the look approachable and elegant.

For her appearance at a recent awards night in Gujarat, Ananya Panday embraced a striking fusion ensemble by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla that paid homage to the state’s textile heritage. Taking to Instagram, celebrity stylist Ami Patel shared alluring photos of the Bollywood actress in the modern ethnic outfit.

The look featured a patola-inspired strapless corset, intricately hand-embroidered with a mosaic of multi-coloured bugle beads arranged in geometric floral patterns. Structured yet sculpted, the corset highlighted her silhouette while serving as the focal point of the outfit.

It was paired with a silk bandhani saree, reimagined as a draped skirt in a deep black and red palette, creating a dramatic contrast against the vibrant bodice. The saree-skirt retained its traditional dotted bandhani motifs while flowing fluidly, striking a seamless balance between heritage and couture. A matching sheer bandhani stole was styled softly around her arms.

Keeping the styling intentional and minimal, Ananya skipped a necklace, allowing the corset neckline to remain uncluttered. She accessorised with ornate round polki stud earrings inspired by bandhani detailing, along with gemstone-encrusted rings that added just the right touch of sparkle.

Her makeup leaned luminous and pared-back, with satin-glow skin, softly defined eyes, fluttering lashes, and lips finished in a neutral rose tone that complemented the outfit’s rich colours. Her hair was swept back into a sleek bun with a delicate curl framing her face, lending a refined, old-world elegance to the look.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya was last seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, marking their second collaboration together. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Dharma Entertainment, the film also starred Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff.

Prior to this, Ananya featured in ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.

Ananya Panday will next star in ‘Chand Mera Dil’ opposite Lakshya, and return for ‘Call Me Bae Season 2’.
