Bollywood actress Ananya Panday’s fashion journey has evolved beautifully over the years – from playful Gen-Z silhouettes to a more polished, sensual and red-carpet-ready aesthetic. She has an innate ability to balance modernity with classic femininity, often gravitating towards silhouettes that celebrate her frame while still feeling elegant and fashion-forward. Whether she’s in breezy vacation wear, sharp power dressing, or ornate couture, Ananya brings a fresh softness to every look. This recent appearance saw her step fully into high-glam territory, embracing rich craftsmanship, subtle sensuality, and vintage-inspired allure.

For this look, Ananya Panday wore a custom Manish Malhotra ensemble in a luminous antique gold tone that leaned into old-school opulence with a contemporary edge. Taking to Instagram, celebrity fashion stylist Priyanka Kapadia Badani shared jaw-dropping photos of Ananya in the gold lehenga.

A breathtaking video of the young Bollywood actress in the gold ethnic ensemble also made its way online.

Have a look at the video here:

The outfit featured a bejewelled bralette-style blouse intricately hand-embroidered with pearls, crystals and sequins, creating a richly textured surface that caught the light with every movement. The blouse had a soft sweetheart neckline and slim straps, keeping the look sensual yet refined. She paired it with a matching high-waist, column-style skirt that skimmed the body in a sleek, elongated silhouette.

The skirt was densely embellished in geometric and chevron-like patterns, adding depth and dimension without overwhelming the overall look. A sheer beige-gold dupatta was draped effortlessly over one shoulder, softening the sharp glamour of the embroidery and lending the ensemble a fluid, festive elegance.

Her accessories were kept classic and regal. She wore ornate gold jhumka-style earrings that echoed the vintage Indian aesthetic of the outfit, allowing them to stand out as statement pieces against the otherwise minimal styling. A statement ring added just enough sparkle without competing with the embroidery.

Beauty was equally considered and softly glamorous. Ananya’s tresses were styled in a low, softly pulled-back half-tied hairstyle with a gentle centre part, allowing her face and jewellery to take centre stage.

Her makeup was warm and luminous – with softly sculpted cheeks, a subtle bronzed glow, metallic hints on the eyes, fluttery lashes, and a glossy peachish lip shade. The overall effect was sensual, elegant, and timeless.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya can currently be seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, marking their second collaboration together. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Dharma Entertainment, the film also stars Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff. It has so far made Rs 32.95 crore in India and Rs 49.50 crore, as per Sacnilk.

Prior to this, Ananya featured in ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.

Ananya Panday will next star in ‘Chand Mera Dil’ opposite Lakshya, and return for ‘Call Me Bae Season 2’.
