Ananya Panday Proves You Can Be Soft, Sultry And Stunning All At Once. See Pics, Video
Ananya Panday stepped into festive mode with a radiant traditional look that balanced craftsmanship charm and contemporary ease.
Ananya Panday has quietly built a reputation as one of Bollywood’s most consistent modern traditionalists. Whether she’s experimenting with contemporary silhouettes or leaning into heritage weaves, her fashion choices often reflect a balance between youthful freshness and classic Indian craftsmanship. She gravitates towards clean lines, flattering drapes and thoughtful detailing rather than loud theatrics — making her style accessible yet aspirational. From red-carpet gowns to festive ethnic looks, Ananya’s wardrobe repeatedly shows a preference for elegance that feels current, light, and wearable while still honouring tradition and artisanal work.
For this appearance, Ananya Panday slipped into a vibrant orange Banarasi brocade saree created in collaboration between Swadesh and Manish Malhotra, celebrating India’s handloom legacy. Taking to Instagram, Ananya shared mesmerising images of herself in the orange saree.

A stunning video of Ananya in the orange drape also made its way online.

The saree was woven in rich silk brocade, featuring delicate bird motifs across the body in soft gold zari, lending it texture and depth without overwhelming the look. The border was detailed with intricate zari work and a slim crimson piping that added contrast and sharpness to the drape.
The pallu carried a denser woven pattern, giving the saree a regal finish while maintaining fluidity and movement. The colour — a warm, festive orange — radiated joy and complemented Ananya’s complexion beautifully, making it ideal for celebratory and cultural occasions.
She paired the saree with a meticulously crafted matching blouse featuring hand-embroidered zardozi work, fine metallic thread detailing, and tiny ghungroo accents along the borders and sleeves. The blouse had a structured, fitted silhouette with a modern square neckline at the front and an open back tied with delicate dori strings.
These strings were adorned with playful, Christmas-inspired ornamental tassels — stars, bells, hearts and charms — adding a whimsical, festive touch that elevated the traditional look with contemporary flair.
Accessorising was kept elegant and coordinated. Ananya wore gold-toned jhumka earrings with pearl and ruby accents, a statement ring, and stacked bangles that echoed the saree’s warm tones.
Her hair was styled in a sleek, low ponytail with a centre part, keeping the focus on the saree’s craftsmanship and her neckline.
Makeup was soft and glowing — dewy skin, peachy-pink blush, subtle highlighter, defined brows, softly lined eyes and a muted rose lip. A tiny bindi completed the look perfectly.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya can be currently seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, marking their second collaboration together. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Dharma Entertainment, the film also stars Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff. It has so far made Rs 32.41 crore in India, as per Sacnilk.
Prior to this, Ananya featured in ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
Ananya Panday will next star in ‘Chand Mera Dil’ opposite Lakshya, and return for ‘Call Me Bae Season 2’.
