The hype is off the charts for Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'. The upcoming Bollywood project is set to release worldwide on March 19, but keeping the insane demand for tickets in mind, the makers have decided to hold paid previews a day before, beginning at 5 PM. The ticket sales are going through the roof, and the Hindi actioner is all set to break the records left, right and centre. According to reports, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has already surpassed the collection of 'Stree 2' paid previews in advance booking itself.
Not just India, the insane buzz is worldwide. Advance booking for paid previews opened in North America last week, and according to trade estimates, the spy thriller has already raked in USD 750,000 in premiere shows alone across the USA and Canada. As per Hindustan Times, bookings have easily surpassed USD 1 million, and the opening weekend has reached a staggering USD 2 million.
As of now, the biggest premiere for an Indian film in the US belongs to Ranbir Kapoor’s 'Animal', which earned USD 1.2 million from paid previews. However, 'Dhurandhar 2' is all set to smash this mark. The film is also on its way to registering the biggest opening weekend in North America. 'RRR' and 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' are currently at the top with openings of USD 3.46 million and USD 3.34 million, respectively.
