The runtime of 'Dhurandhar 2' is 3 hours 55 minutes, and according to Hindustan Times, the major theatre chains have kept a 4-hour 40-minute window for each show, including trailers, the interval, and the turnaround period between shows.
The hype for 'Dhurandhar 2' is such that the iconic 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, which is being screened at the Maratha Mandir, has been pushed to an early morning slot. 'Dhurandhar 2' is all set to get the 11:30 AM slot at the uber-popular venue.
Speaking of 'Dhurandhar 2', the film also stars R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Badi. As per reports, Akshaye Khanna is all set to feature in a flashback sequence. Akshaye Khanna's character, Rehman Dakait, had become a fan favourite. However, he was killed by Ranveer's character in the first installment, hence it would be interesting to see how the makers utilise him.
The first 'Dhurandhar' minted more than Rs 1300 crore worldwide and is still playing in theatres over three months after its December release. According to several trade experts, the sequel may have enough legs to gross more than Rs 2000 crore worldwide.
