Veer Pahariya's Clarification After Comedian Says Gang “Physically Assaulted” Him For Jokes On Actor
Veer Pahariya has issued an apology after stand-up comedian Pranit More alleged that he was physically assaulted by a gang for making jokes about the actor recently.

Veer Pahariya, who recently made his acting debut with ‘Sky Force’, has issued an apology after stand-up comedian Pranit More alleged that he was physically assaulted by a “gang” for making jokes on the actor recently. Veer Pahariya took to Instagram Stories to say that he is shocked by the incident. He also confirmed that he had no involvement in the entire episode and will ensure that the comedian gets justice. He further went on to say that he strongly condemns any form of violence.
“I am truly shocked and saddened by what happened to Comedian Pranit More. I want to make it absolutely clear—I had no involvement in this, and I strongly condemn any form of violence. As someone who has always taken trolling in stride, laughed along with it, and shown love even to my critics, I would never encourage or support harm towards anyone, let alone someone from the same creative fraternity,” he wrote on Instagram Stories.
“To Pranit and his fans—I am deeply sorry that this happened. No one deserves this. I will personally ensure that whoever was responsible is held accountable. My sincerest apologies again,” he added.

For the unversed, the comedian earlier stated that a group of around 11-12 men approached him after his show in Solapur and assaulted him.
“The leader of this attack was Tanveer Shaikh, and his gang made it clear why they were doing this they wanted to silence Pranit for making jokes about Bollywood debutant Veer Pahariya. One of them even threatened, ‘Agli Baar Veer Pahariya baba pe joke maarke dikha’- a clear warning that worse consequences would follow if he dared to joke about him again,” his team wrote on Instagram.
“If a comedian can be physically assaulted just for making a joke, what does that say about our basic rights and safety? As Maharashtrian artists, we never imagined that in his own state, he would face such violence just for doing his job. We are sharing this because people need to know the reality. Maharashtra is his home, and we refuse to believe that we have reached a point where violence and suppression have replaced dialogue and humor,” his team added.
Speaking of Veer Pahariya, the actor recently made his debut with ‘Sky Force’, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Nimrit Kaur and Sara Ali Khan. The film has already done a business of more than Rs 100 crore in India.
Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, the film tells the story of India's retaliatory strike on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani war.
