Kangana Ranaut made some hard-hitting allegations against OTT platforms.

Actress Kangana Ranaut is known for doing women-centric films, and her fans expect her to do films that tell powerful stories. In the latest entertainment news, Kangana Ranaut, on Tuesday responded to an X (formerly Twitter) user, who asked her to make a film on Bilkis Bano. For the unversed, the Supreme Court on Monday overturned the decision of Gujarat government's decision to release the 11 convicts, who had raped Bilkis Bano and killed her family during the 2002 Gujarat riots.

Responding to the X user, Kangana Ranaut, who is also a producer and director, said that she has wanted to make a film on Bilkis Bano for a long time, and the script is now "ready".

However, Kangana Ranaut said that the top studios and OTT platforms are not helping her, and hence she is not able to go ahead with the film.

Taking to X, Kangana said, "I want to make that story, I have the script ready, researched and worked on it for three years. But Netflix, Prime Video, and other studios wrote back to me that they have clear guidelines they don't do so-called politically motivated films."

"JioCinema said we don't work with Kangana because she supports BJP and Zee is going through a merger. What are my options," she added.
